Congratulations to our Miss South Africa for winning #MissUniverse. However, I think that the runner up (Miss Jamaica) did an amazing job. She represented her country very well and I am sure there is a little black girl out there with an Afro who knows that she can do it.

The Miss USA pageant came down to a contest between Miss Nebraska, Miss North Carolina, and Miss Nevada. After Miss Nevada was named the second runner-up, Miss Nebraska was crowned the winner.
Miss Nebraska, aka Sarah Rose Summers, is a 23-year-old certified child life specialist — which came in handy during the Q&A portion.
She was asked,
“One in four children in the United States is in a single-parent household. How has that affected our generation’s views on marriage and family?”
After giving a quick shout-out to her own parents in the audience, Summers said,
“I do work in a children’s hospital as a certified child life specialist, where I’m a liaison between the children and families and the medical team.
And I’ve seen single mothers at the bedside working remotely on their computers to stay by their children and support them.”
Her answer to her other question got one of the biggest cheers of the night. When she was asked about a hypothetical protest march, Summers urged people to “speak your voice.”
She then ended her answer with,
“Go speak to people. When they have questions, communicate with them. Listen to their views also. That is one thing in the United States that we really need to focus on … listening to each other!”

Current Face of Leadership Scorecard Nigeria, Queen Josephine Eleyi Igoche is dead.

In 2016, Eleyi, who studied Political Science at Nasarawa State University, Keffi, Nigeria won the Miss Ambassador for Peace North Central.
Confirming the sad news to IDOMA VOICE last night, her young sister, Linda Igoche described her demise as a rude shock.
She said,
"This is what life took from me, I dont no what to do, I don't no were to go, my world has fallen apart a cent i cannot hold, somebody should console me and be my pillar of help, I love you sis, I wish it was a dream …RIP SIS. U still remain #QUEEN JOSEPHINE ELEYI IGOCHE, Lord I need a pillar of help …"
Another family member, Enenche Igoche said Eleyi's demise was a big blow on the entire Igoche's family.
He wrote,
"It will be very difficult to accept the reality of the loss, and it will be even more difficult to go through the pain of the loss.
When you lose a sister, the pain of it can turn your whole world upside down. You not only lose a sister but a whole support system.
The hole that they leave in your hearts is a hole that no one could ever fill, and the sister that you lost is a sister that can never be replaced. R.I.P sis. I WILL SEE YOU ON THE OTHER SIDE."
