J Prince has stepped in to make sure that Drake does not ruin a man's life. The last we heard from J Prince, the Rap-a-Lot Records CEO said he had made an "OG call" to Drake, insisting that he not respond to Pusha T's ferocious diss track against him, "The Story of Adidon."
The possibility of a Drake response seemed to become more unlikely after hearing the new information and now even further details have broken out about their conversation. Appearing on Sway in the Morning, J Prince gave context to why he was so against Drizzy clapping back at Push, noting that his response would have ended careers and ruined families.
J Prince and Drake have a long history, dating back to when his son Jas Prince discovered the Canadian on MySpace, giving him an opportunity. Sway prompted the legend to speak on what made him so against the continuation of their beef, to which J Prince replied, "I saw this going to a place that I feel would have ended his career if Drake would’ve put out this song that he had on him."
Noting that lines were crossed, Prince continued by confirming that a response exists, saying, "Oh no doubt about it. The ingredients were overwhelming. I know for a fact that it would’ve been bad for Kanye and my man. It wouldn’t have been good, it's beyond music at that point. It's gonna affect the livelihood, it's gonna interfere with his entire lifestyle from that day forward."
Drake seems to have given his word to J Prince that he would not retaliate as he prepares to let the situation blow over. The Rap-a-Lot CEO said he does not believe the song will ever see the light of day. Listen to audio of the interview below.

Drake is war ready, according to Van Lathan.
At this point, everyone's waiting on Drake's next move in his beef with Pusha T. Last night, Push unleashed his scathing diss track, "The Story Of Adidon" which pretty much-aimed shots at Drake and everyone associated with him.
Many are wondering how Drake is going to come back at Pusha after "The Story Of Adidon" which ultimately exposed Drake's rollout for his Adidas deal, his secret child and more. According to sources, it looks like Drake's already cookin' up something for King Push.
Drake is getting ready for verbal warfare with Pusha T, according to TMZ's Van Lathan. He took to Twitter to reveal that Drake was ready to "deal with the situation."
"Have it on an incredibly good source that Drake is about to "Deal With The Situation."" He wrote on Twitter.
At this point, it's unsure when we could expect Drake's response but if he's already working on it, there's a good chance it's coming soon.
Van Lathan's tweet was retweeted by Stephen Dacres of SRD TV. Prior to Lathan's tweet, Dacres wrote, "Oh wow Drake is prepared lmaoooo." So it seems like there's several people who might know what Drake has up his sleeve.
Despite this, it doesn't seem like Pusha T is concerned with whatever rebuttal Drake has. He not only claims that he has more dirt on Aubrey but that nothing Drake can do can really affect him.
"I'mma tell y'all like this, I don't got no skeletons. I don't have any skeletons that are like.. nothin'," he said to the Breakfast Club this a.m.

Drake has always kept things mysterious in his relationships, as rumors of him dating Rihanna, Jennifer Lopez, or Serena Williams never really manifested with anything but that. The latest girl in Drake's orbit was English singer, Raye, but it seems that there might be a new girl in town.
A track suitted-out Drake was spotted yesterday in Toronto, walking down the street with a gorgeous young woman, wearing a red tube top and some black air forces. While the woman's identity isn't 100% confirmed, sources believe her to be model Malaika Terry. Her most recent Instagram photo places her in Toronto at least five days ago, so it's highly likely that it's actually her.
If they are together, then Drake is really doing well for himself. If they aren't, it's not clear what exactly they're doing together. While they don't seem especially close in the video or the pictures they have together, it's not like he's trying to keep the two of them being together a secret. Drake is media savvy enough to know what kind of reaction pictures like these will generate, so maybe he's playing some kind of long con.
Or this is all just overthinking it, and Drake found himself a new bae before his next album drops in June. What do you think of Drake and Malaika together? Do you think he could do better? Check out the two of them walking down the street together below.

In between jet-skiing and doing "Salt Bae" impressions with DJ Khaled, Drake has been heavy in the studio. He's steadily teased photos of his workflow on Instagram, letting fans know that a follow-up to his playlist More Life is on the way.
Along the way, we've heard about possible collaborations with quite a few young'ns, including Pierre Bourne and Smokepurpp, while Odell Beckham Jr. recently shared some exclusive Drizzy lyrics we've yet to hear in real life.
Recently, Drake's long-awaited collaboration with Atlanta rapper (currently locked up) Trouble, "Bring It Back," and today the rapper's sprung another leak, this time in the form of an unfinished record apparently titled "Pistols." This latest leak is reportedly produced by 40, and in keeping with Drake's style, it's relationship-driven, and a light, Spanish flavour to it, with muted clapping and guitar leading to a piano outro.
We'll keep you posted if more information surfaces about the record-- for now you can listen to it here via XXL. Let us know what you think.
Drake is also expected to collaborate with Lil Wayne on the highly anticipated Dedication 6 mixtape, dropping today, so stay tuned.

EOSsPi’erre Bourne isn’t taking any losses any time soon, and according to Drake’s most recent revelation, the young producer’s hot streak will continue as the pair has been cooking some things up in the lab.
It was last month that Pi’erre revealed to Billboard that he would be spending the rest of 2017 and parts of 2018 working on several full-length efforts, including his own and Drake’s, touching on his time on the Boy Meets World Tour, and the mentorship he’s received.
“The Boy Meets World Tour was awesome,” the Atlanta-based artist and producer told the publication. “Being able to be on stage and all of the venues sold out, I never thought I could do something like that. It put my mind through a lot. Drake’s a really good guy, he showed me a lot being out there. Really just got me excited for the future, it was dope.”
In the same sit-down he’d go on to reveal that he was hoping to get Drake to hop on a track on his forthcoming Pi’erre 4 project before revealing he was putting his hands on Drake’s own effort in addition to projects from Playboi Carti.
Looks like that Drake collaboration has already come to fruition as the More Life rapper recently stepped into Pi’erre Bourne’s live session and took the time to respond to a fan inquiring about said collab.
“Drake you gone send Pierre that verse tho?????”
Drake’s simple and reassuring reply read, “Me and Pierre already got one.”
More than likely, this indicates an appearance on whatever forthcoming effort that Drake has got coming up as that brief hiatus he once described may be nearing its final dates.
