New Weezy has leaked and it's actually pretty pretty damn good.

A leaked Lil Wayne song called "Quasimodo" has been floating about. DatPiff posted the song under suspicious circumstances, but it appears to be a real thing, complete with mix and mastering & all the final touches that go into post-production. "Quasimodo" sounds off like a hypnotic episode of withdrawal. Weezy raps:
"I pull the cash out scream Y.O.L.OTo I get a sore throat I scream Y.O.L.ON****s come masked up like ZoroFuck your b**** on the lean that's a slow poke"
Lil Wayne has made numerous appearances through commissioned work, but rarely so on his own two feet. The rapper, recently liberated from his bonded contract at Cash Money, is now free to resume his Tha Carter V project, which may incorporate "Quasimodo" on the master copy, when all is said and done.

Tha Carter V was once given a 2013 drop date, but the ensuing legal battle with Birdman stood in the balance like a trade embargo. Lil Wayne's social media accounts don't necessarily allude to this happening any time soon, but he may have to answer for this leak in the coming days.

In meantime give 'er a listen RIGHT HERE, and please do share your thoughts down below.

There's a simple formula many hip-hop fans adhere to. The more Lil Wayne, the better. Not complicated, really. As such, the fact that his albums occasionally suffer from outlandish delays has caused grief in many a listener.

It's a miracle we received the long-lost T-Wayne when we did; the fates of Tha Carter V and the Juelz Santana collaboration I Can't Feel My Face are far less certain. In fact, the Santana project has already undergone a decade-long wait, rivaling only the delay of George R.R. Martin's The Winds Of Winter in scope of frustration.

Still, there remains a reason to hope. A few days back, Juelz engaged in discourse with a curious fan, who inquired about the status of the anticipated Lil Wayne mixtape. While the vast majority appears to have written the project off, Juelz remains optimistic.

"That thing already Done bro Jus Know..." replied Juelz, in response to a fan's request for closure. While Santana provided little in that department, the fact that a finished project is collecting dust somewhere gives us small comfort. Or does it?

Either way, the project could very well "pop up outta nowhere," as Wayne is wont to do. Last year's T Wayne was certainly a pleasant surprise, and the blast from the past style tapes could be the start of a welcome tradition. Either way, all we can do is bide our time, taking solace in the fact that the project is indeed complete.

Mentor & protegé -- Lil Wayne & Drake -- reunite on "Family Feud."

After the release of Dedication 6, many fans were left wondering where the Drake and Lil Wayne collaboration was. Weezy later clarified there was going to be a second part of the project. The second part includes some of the features missing from the initial D6 including the Drake collaboration. Today, the track has finally surfaced.

Lil Wayne and Drake reunited for a cut off of Dedication 6 with a freestyle over Jay-Z's "Family Feud." The track includes two lengthy verses from mentor and protegé. On the track, Drake shouts out Colin Kaepernick and Diddy while also referencing Lil Wayne's record label issues (Ay, tell me if TD Bank is approving loans/ I'm thinkin' of payin' Wayne what universal owes).

He also makes a demand that Donald Trump salutes him if they ever cross paths. Weezy comes through with a menacing verse to close off the track and continues to prove why he's one of hip hop's GOATS.

Quotable Lyrics
We gon' have to break the billy curse
I need my paper long like "A Milli" verse
Or too long like a sentence from a Philly judge
Fuck is the point of all the beefing when we really blood

There’s an old legend, much the same as the legend encompassing Groundhog Day – if Lil Wayne drops a bar-overwhelming, come back to-frame mixtape a couple of days before 2018, it will flag the arrival of melodious rap in the new year.

Assuming, in any case, Dedication 6 is loaded with autotune-doused Weezy, it implies we’ll be bound for one more year of “murmur rap.” Either way, Dedication 6 is coming, and it’s Christmas Day discharge is a simple four days away. At last, fans have been circumspectly idealistic; this time around, it feels like Wayne has an announcement to make, and the prospect of hearing the potential GOAT crushing other rapper’s beats is absolutely an engaging one.

And keeping in mind that many have hypothesized about which beats Wayne may consider commendable, an example has surfaced uncovering a potential competitor. Lil Wayne as of late prodded an early arrival of some D6 music on Instagram, knocking a remix of Kendrick Lamar’s “DNA.”

While we still can’t seem to hear any vocals, fans have just started salivating at the possibility of Wayne going in finished the Mike WiLL Made-It instrumental; all things considered, it’s one of the hardest tracks on DAMN., including some of Kendrick’s best rapping of the year. It does, in any case, suggest a genuine conversation starter – who is more fit for killing this one? Kendrick or Lil Wayne?

Look at the concise mystery beneath, and stay tuned. For all we know, Lil Wayne might just follow through on his guarantee and drop off some Dedication 6 fire before the day is done.

hold up, is lil wayne about to drop a “dna.” remix on 👀 😮 😭
