Yemi Osinbajo, Vice President of Nigeria, has sent birthday wishes to President Muhammadu Buhari.
The Vice President described his principal as a dependable leader.
Osinbajo said Bubari's commitment to Nigeria served as an example to him.
The Professor of Law made the remark in a message via his verified Twitter to celebrate the President as he clocked 75 years.
The tweet reads, ”To a dependable leader, your commitment to Nigeria continues to serve as an example to me and our nation, Happy Birthday Boss!
Happy Birthday President Muhammadu Buhari!”
Buhari, who clocked 75 has continued to receive congratulatory messages both from his party and the opposition party, Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.
On Sunday, the Deputy President of the Senate, Senator Ike Ekweremadu also congratulated Buhari on his 75th birthday.
The leadership of the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) has felicitated with President Muhammadu Buhari on the occasion of his 75th birthday, wishing him more active years on earth.
This was contained in a press statement signed by the National Public Relations Officer (PRO) of the association, Comrade Okereafor Bestman Opeyemi.
The association reiterated its commitment towards the anti-corruption crusade of the president, and wished him sound health to fulfil his promise to Nigerians.
The association, however, urged the president not to allow the NGO Regulatory Bill, presently at the National Assembly to see the light of the day, describing it as a “death sentence to Human Rights activism.”
“The national Secretariat of the apex students governing body, the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) join millions of Nigerians across the globe to congratulate and felicitate with our beloved president as he celebrates 75 years on earth.
“The leadership of over 43.2 million Nigerian Students both home and Diaspora sincerely wish his excellency long life and prosperity in sound Health. Nigerian Students will continuously support Mr President with our prayers as ever.
“NANS is however using this golden opportunity to call on the presidency to put an end to the NGO REGULATORY BILL. we consider this bill to be a death sentence on human rights activism which contradicts the president’s campaign for open Government partnership.
“NANS is reiterating it’s total commitment and support to the anti corruption crusade of president Buhari led federal government”, the statement said.

Acting President Yemi Osinbajo and worshippers at the Aso Villa Chapel on Sunday prayed for President Muhammadu Buhari's quick recovery. It was at the 50th birthday celebration of the wife of the acting president, Mrs Dolapo Osinbajo.
Buhari has been on medical vacation in the United Kingdom since May 7. Osinbajo had, on his return from the UK where he met with the president last week, said he was recuperating fast.
Those at the Villa Chapel were the chaplain, Pastor Seyi Malomo; the administrator of the chapel, Rev. Isaac Ambi; the General Suprintrndent of New Covenant Gospel Church and President of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN), Rev Felix Omobude;Osinbajo's father-in-law, Elder Olutayo Shoyode; the Senior Special Assistant to the President on National Assembly Matters (Senate), Senator Ita Enang; among others.
Rev. Omobude, in his sermon titled: "Triumph of Hope," admonished Nigerians to have hope in God that despite the present challenges, the country would be great again.
Quoting from the book of Solomon 5:5, he said since Nigeria is a God's project, "Our God never gives up on his project. There is no room for the self-defeated in this world and we must know that challenges are part of life. Life would have been boring if there were no challenges. So, I call on everyone to embrace God's provision and know that we are his divine project."
Praying for Mrs Osinbajo, Omobude said: "So let's thank Him. He is God of the night; he is God of the day. He is God when you are happy and he is God when you are not happy. He will continue to uphold you (Mrs Osinbajo) and everyone. He who has begun this good work in your life will complete it," he prayed.
The cleric expressed optimism that under the present administration, truth and equity would reign in the country, saying "Nigeria is God's project and Nigeria of our dream will be delivered."
