This year’s edition, the 12th of its kind, will feature renowned gospel music artistes like Donnie McClurkin, Don Moen, Travis Greene, Micah Stampley, Chevelle Franklyn, Sonnie Badu, Frank Edwards, Tope Alabi, Chioma Jesus, Tim Godfrey, Eben, Midnight Crew, Nathaniel Bassey, BeeJay Sax, and Onos. Also ministering is the host choir, The Lagos Metropolitan Gospel Choir (LMGC).
The Experience is not only a musical event, but also an opportunity for the Christian community to unite in offering corporate prayers for our nation and dismantling the age -old barriers of corruption, politics, ethnicity and doctrinal differences that characterise everyday living.

The general overseer of House on the Rock, Pastor Paul Adefarasin, has broken his silence on the controversy trailing the payment of tithes in church.
Adefarasin was apparently reacting to a controversial comment by OAP Daddy Freeze, who said no Nigerian Prophet, Pastor or General Overseer, GO, is qualified to receive tithes from their members.
Freeze stressed that tithes were only meant for the Levites, who were descendants of Levi the son of Jacob and Leah and “no one else.”
Reacting, Adefarasin admitted that God will no curse anyone, who refused to tithe.
“Tithe is a way to show that God is the supplier of your resources. God blesses and I respond with my 10%. It is an honour system, it means the money is not your God. You won’t be cursed if you don’t tithe but when you tithe you are saying you recognise Him and it keeps the cycle moving,” said Paul Adefarasin during a mid-week sermon.
“He did not make everyone a preacher, don’t let anyone tell you to take your tithe to charities, elsewhere.” he further said.
Further, into the sermon, Adefarasin spoke about people attacking the church.
In his words, “A guy can not just show up and say he is an overseer. He can’t. Overseer from where? Who is your father? Who ordained you? Where are you coming from? John Doe can not get up and say he is a pastor, there must be evidence of righteousness in his life.”
“Anyone that attacks the body of Christ is not a Man of God. You can’t attack the church and call yourself a Man of God. We have to have decency and order in the Body of Christ. Paul said, Let everything be done decently and in order.”
Paul Adefarasin, the Senior Pastor of all House on the Rock Churches, has spoken for the first time, after the fire outbreak in the Abuja branch of the church.
The incident happened on Sunday, after the mid-year thanksgiving service and was eventually contained by men from the Fire Service.
In a statement made available to the press, the cleric thanked those who responded to the inferno and called for calm.
“A fire incident occurred at about 2 pm on Sunday 25, June 2017 at the facilities used by the Abuja daughter church of the House On The Rock.
“We remain profusely grateful to the Sovereign and Almighty God that there were no human fatalities or casualties.
“While some parts of the complex were damaged by the fire, the swift co-ordinated response by many including the following: NEMA, the Federal Fire Service (Abuja), NJI, NNPC, Julius Berger, the HOTR staff & members, and several friends & well wishers of the house.
“All of whom responded to the incident & contributed in no small way to the containment and eventual extinguishing of the fire.
“We commend the professionalism of all the first responders and thank them for the invaluable service they rendered.
“We are now working with the relevant authorities & consultants to ensure the structural integrity of the affected building. Even as we seek to determine the root cause of the unfortunate incident.
“The weekly services will continue as usual, as the presently used service sanctuary remains unaffected.
“The House On The Rock wishes to express her gratitude to all who in-spite of the inconvenience of the torrential rainfall were available
“And remained available to render assistance, encouragement and moral support during the incident.
“Your prayers, love and moral support expressed in various correspondences are truly and very deeply appreciated.
“We enjoin all our members, friends and guests to remain calm as we solicit your continued prayers in this season.
“Let us all be comforted by the Scripture in Romans 8:28 which says “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.” Thank you.”
The Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) on Monday said that it believed the fire incident at House on the Rock church in Abuja was a case of sabotage.
The National President of the Youth Wing of the association, David Kadzai, in an interview with Punch said it the body is suspicious that the incident took place on a Sunday, adding that “saboteurs must have thought of unleashing a blow on the church members.”
From what we have gathered so far, it is clear that renovation work was ongoing in the church but there was no work on the site on that Sunday when the incident occurred. Also, there was no trace of any electrical fault before now. But suddenly people discovered the fire and they couldn’t tell what was the cause.
The question we are asking now is, why the fire on a Sunday? Having assessed the situation, I am meant to say that we suspect some form of foul play because this incident happened on a Sunday when the saboteurs must have thought of unleashing a blow on the church members.
There are people who are sabotaging the efforts of the church in Nigeria. These persons are saboteurs and perhaps they may be ones who are culpable in this incident. There have been some orchestrated attacks on churches in Nigeria, whether it is this one or not.
This comes after the Senior Pastor of House on the Rock Paul Adefarasin on Twitter thanked authorities for swift response in putting out the fire, and said the root cause of the incident was being investigated.
