Allow me present to you the new Single "Holy" by your own Shinning Jerry. "This song was inspired by a near-death experience which happened in 2012.
It’s something I never wanted to talk about because it was so terrifying but God kept me. At that time I didn’t realise how much God loved me, so growing in the knowledge of his word and seeing his wonderful works there is no better way to honour him but praising him.
This song is from my spirit and it is my way to honour the lord at all times. I hope that you are blessed by it".

Socio-Economic Rights and Accountability Project, (SERAP) has sent an open letter to the Governor of Oyo State, Abiola Ajimobi requesting him to;
“immediately halt all further eviction and demolition of Fresh FM building and to show full respect for the safety and dignity of residents and owner of Fresh FM.Gov. Ajumobi Repair The Building You Demolished Or Face Legal Action - SERAP
"We also urge you to immediately begin repairs of the Fresh FM building and to adequately compensate the radio station and its owner and publicly guarantee non-repetition.”
The organization urged Ajimobi to;
“ensure full and effective respect for the rights to freedom of expression and media freedom in Oyo State. We request that you take this step within 7 days of the receipt and/or publication of this letter, failing which SERAP will take national and international legal actions to compel your government to act in the public interest and the overall interest of the rule of law.”
In the letter dated 21 August 2018 and signed by SERAP deputy director Timothy Adewale the organization said, “We have information to suggest that the destruction of Fresh FM was based on political considerations and retaliation against the radio station on purported allegations of defamation against you.
The facts suggest that the demolition of Fresh FM building failed to comply with the principle of lawfulness and reasonableness. The demolition was neither done in the public interest nor carried out to achieve a legitimate aim.”
The organization said,
“This apparently unlawful action has set a bad precedent, and created a high level of uncertainty and anxiety among many radio stations and other media organizations in Oyo State about the future because of the likelihood of their buildings being demolished when they are deemed to broadcast views which the Oyo State authorities may consider too critical or ‘defamatory’.”

The Archbishop Metropolitan and Primate of the Church of Nigeria, Anglican Communion, Most Rev. Nicholas Okoh has warned youths to shun thuggery and any act of violence during the forthcoming 2019 general election.
Okoh gave the charge at the 61st annual National Youth Conference of the National Council of the Anglican Youth Fellowship (AYF), Nigeria at Awka. He charged the youths to obtain their Permanent Voters Cards (PVC) to enthrone a God-fearing leadership for the country in 2019.
The primate, who was represented by Anglican Bishop of Awka, Rev. Alexander Ibezim, urged the youths to be God-fearing and avoid being used to fight and kill political opponents. He charged the youths to be agents of change and crusader for good governance and development of the country.
He, however, urged the youths to participate actively in the 2019 election, and avoid the act of violence and the temptation of being used as thugs by politicians.
“Endeavour to get your PVCs and be ready to vote in 2019 general election. Nothing stops you from registering with political parties and be ready for elective positions. We are praying that God will raise faithful people for us,” he said.
Speaking on the theme of the conference: “Power for Exploits” taken from Acts 1:8, Archbishop Okoh called on the youths to emulate Christ and follow in his footsteps for their own salvation.
“Christians are called to become instrumental in serving other people and the youths must receive power in this urgent missionary assignment. Our attitude should distinguish us from this wicked generation. We should endeavour at all time to pay the supreme price to please God that called us.

Shalom to you. Grace be multiplied to you in the Name of our Lord Jesus Christ.
We have entered the 2nd half of the year 2018. To maximize and effectively make the most of the 2nd half, we must forget and cast away the 1st half (only taking the lessons gleaned in wisdom).
Anyone can win the game, if the 2nd half goes very well. That should be our focus. A lot may have happened, but there are greater possibilities ahead of us.
As long as we humble ourselves before the Lord and keep learning; as long as we open our minds to knowledge; as long as we open up to new ways of thinking and doing things; if we keep learning, we will keep changing.

If we keep changing, being diligent in grace... we will keep growing. If we keep committed to growing, it will be only a matter of the DUE SEASON of this stage of our lives.
Never forget this - every man, every ministry has its unique race. Don't compare yourself to another. Keep challenging yourself according to your potentials and the vision you carry, but never compare yourself to another.
Every race has a grace, and every grace has a pace. Live your life at the pace of grace.
"And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in DUE SEASON we shall reap if we do not lose heart (faint)." Galatians6:9
If you were off track, retrace your steps this 2nd half. If you were off your game, bring it on this 2nd half. Be patient and pull out all that God has taught you in years past. Also be humble to learn what you didn't know. Hey, if you've got it, let's see it now!
Know that as long as you keep moving; as long as you keep growing; as long as you keep yourself in the perfect will of God; as long as you keep believing and working hard; THEN everything is going to be alright. It will all end in praise. You will never be ashamed of your life. The waters of defeat will reject you and the pits of shame will vomit you out. You will only be flying on the wings of grace.
I pray that you be strengthened in your heart with might by God's Spirit. I pray for you this day for sweet victories and CEASELESS TESTIMONIES in Jesus Name. You are a success. You are the envy of nations. You are your Father's treasure. You are my joy and crown before the presence of our Lord. Be blessed.

No one is your God, and you are nobody's God too. We must be careful not to let people play 'God' in our lives. Neither should we also sit down to judge what might happen in the life of others because we are not their God.
DON'T EVER THINK YOU KNOW HOW A MAN WILL END IN LIFE BECAUSE YOU KNOW HIS PAST FOOLISHNESS.
God has a way of confounding the wise with the foolish, and the strong dumbfounded by the weak.
A man's past is God's canvass with which He paints the man's future masterpiece. He specializes in turning ashes into beauty. He is God and He is Lord.
If we have to judge men, then we must judge the righteous judgments of God. We should give mercy and grace where God gives them. We must be long-suffering where God's righteousness suffers long. Yes, just as God judges. Our thoughts for people should be thoughts of good, peace and a future with a glorious end.
Never wish a man's failure or downfall to prove that you were right when you judge. I always ask God never to prove me right with the failure or destruction of one I 'assume' or even know is wrong.
We don't have any point to prove if we are living out God's will in our lives. No one has to be right. All that matters is that we all please God, and His Son Jesus Christ be glorified in us. Once Jesus is glorified, all things will work together for good. It will all end in praise for all.
But in all these, recognizing where and when we miss the mark is very vital. Acknowledging the wisdom of God and quickly submitting to His will is supernatural. Repentance and restoration is the exclusive privilege of the huios (mature sons) of God. The quicker, the more mature. If you were wrong, bear the fruits of repentance and not the stones of pride or the ashes of guilt.
As much as no one is our God, God judges our hearts according to how we love one another as the Spirit of Christ supplies grace. We must not be careless in breaking godly covenants; rebelling in our hearts against God ordained authorities in our lives; speaking or acting in pride; being ungrateful and forgetting those who have truly blessed us.... these things are the fruits of the flesh, fueled by the spirit of worldliness. We must then know when we are tempted and violently resist such complacency.
I exhort you to remember that the God-kind of faith works by love. No one is your God, but your God knows your true devotion by how you treat those He placed in your life. Examine yourself and see if you have recompensed good with neglect and carelessness. Have you treated lightly covenants the Holy Spirit led you into? Have you allowed the peripherals of this passing world to rob you of the eternal verities like faithfulness?
No one is your God, but God can be revealed through one. God can be believed through one. God can be known through one. God can be experienced through one.
"Who is ... we are ministers through whom you believed, AS THE LORD GAVE TO EACH ONE." 1Corinthians3:5
WHEN GOD GIVES YOU ONE AS ABOVE, HE HAS GIVEN YOU A HEAVENLY GIFT. TREAT SUCH ONE AS A GIFT AND NOTHING LESS.
God is set to amaze you again. Don't get hung up on the past. A new season has begun for us. No one else has to believe it, but they will surely celebrate with us (or envy us).
You are a burning and a shining light. Keep radiating His glory. Be blessed.

A 41-year-old suspect, identified as Fidelis Nelson (aka MP), and leader of a dare-devil robbery gang operating within Lagos and Ogun states, has revealed that he went into robbery to raise money to build his church.
According to Nelson, a father of three, who spoke with Colossus Gists,
“I have a pastoral calling; unfortunately I don’t have money to start my church. I have had the calling for years, but no finance to make it a reality.”
Nelson, who has masterminded several robbery operations, also noted that he and members of his gang carried out three robbery operations recently.
“We actually snatched three cars last month,” he added.
Colossus Gists gathered that the gang met their Waterloo on June 16, after the Police received information indicating that some robbers, who specialized in snatching cars in Ogun State, were bringing their loots to Lagos for sale, then laid an ambush for them.
The suspects, identified as Emmanuel Ogaba aka Tablet, 45; Matthew Ogaba, 30; Fidelis Nelson aka MP, 41; Augustine Stanley, 31; Abayomi Adebisi, 42, and Emmanuel Olusegun, 37, were arrested in Lagos.
Recovered from the suspects are one Toyota Camry car, one toy gun and various SIM cards.
The gang leader, Nelson, said:
“I am married with three kids. I am a professional driver. My wife doesn’t know that I am into robbery.
“Since my colleagues are denying that none of them holds the toy gun during operations, I take responsibility for everything. I am the one that held the gun and drove at the same time during operations.
“I was the one who introduced Augustine into the gang. I had plans that when I establish my church, he would head the musical department because he is a talented gospel artiste.”
According to Augustine, the other suspect who is from Abia State,
“I am a gospel artiste; I perform at crusades, weddings and other social events.
“I met Nelson during a crusade programme. He told me that he loved my performance and that he would love to invest in my musical career.
“Early this month, Nelson asked me to follow him to an operation so that I can actualise my dreams. I told him that I have never done that kind of thing. He convinced me.”
