President Trump is thinking about inviting North Korean leader Kim Jong Un to his exclusive Florida resort for a follow-up summit if they hit it off at their meeting next week in Singapore, a report said.
The sitdown at Mar-a-Lago, which Trump considers his winter White House, could happen in the fall if the two leaders make progress in their June 12 talks, Bloomberg reported.
The White House on Tuesday confirmed that Trump and Kim will meet at the luxurious Capella Hotel on Sentosa Island.
But the Trump administration has not released any other info other than to say the summit will happen at 9 a.m. Singapore time, or 9 p.m. June 11 in New York.
The Post reported on Tuesday that former NBA-star Dennis Rodman, who has developed a relationship with Kim over five visits to North Korea, will also be in Singapore while the talks are going on.
The 6-foot-7 ex-baller known as “The Worm,” gave Kim a copy of Trump’s best-selling book “The Art of the Deal” in 2017 for his birthday.
Trump has hosted Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe and Chinese President Xi Jinping at his resort in Palm Beach, Fla.
