Chief (Mrs) Ebelechukwu Obiano reaffirms APGA's stand in the coming 2015 election. Speaking at Amawbia lodge to the gathering of All Progressive Grand Alliance women leaders on Monday13th October, 2014 during the visit of all the women leaders. She emphasis the party's resolve to win all the elected position in the state with the exception of the presidential site which according to her is unopposed to president Jonathan. She made this know to over five hundred women drawn from 21council areas of the state.
In her speech earlier the commissioner for Education Prof Kate Azuka Umenugha made the women to understand that they re the pillar of APGA and can achieve unprecedented result if they can only stand in unity. Also Bar (Mrs) Stalla Onuorah the Hon Commissioner for Lands assure the women of their honesty and transparency which she said that made her to believe that Anambra women are no push over rather they are people to reckon with.
In her speech Mrs Chinyere Ibenta he APGA state women leader thank the wife of the state Governor Chief (Mrs) Ebelechukwu Obiano for deeming it fit to gather them together at this trying point when one of the staunched APGA stalwart had decamped to people's democratic party. She said that Chief (Mrs) Obiano's gesture is that of a trust worthy mother who can never disappoint her children. While the deputy State woman leader assured Chief (Mrs) Obiano of the resolve of the APGA women to bring in all Ndi-Anambra women into APGA family.
In addition Chief (Mrs) Obiano enjoins the women leaders to go out and massively bring in all women in the state into APGA family knowing that APGA is the only mouth piece for an Igbo man. She therefore, task them to ensure that each ward will have success story to tell in terms of being a good ambassador of the party which will translate into having enlarged followers. The women were glad and full of praises to the Governor's wife that they promise to spear only the presidency site while all other elective post must be won by All progressive Grand Alliance Candidates..
