Dennis Memorial Grammar School (DMGS) was founded by the Church Missionary Society in 1925 in memory of Archdeacon T.J. Dennis, one of the early missionaries who remarkably achieved the feat of translating the English Bible into Igbo language, but died before the work was completed.
DMGS is the oldest secondary school in Igbo land and over the years, the Dengram Old Boys Association (DOBA) an Association for the old students of the school, had been putting up structures, most of which will be commissioned this weekend when they would all gather for the convention in the school.
AS part of activities to mark the 90th anniversary of Dennis Memorial Grammar

that over N400 million had been invested in the school in the past five years,
with the old boys contributing over N300 million.
