Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) club, Enyimba
FC, won their 7th title in the Glo Premiere league on Sunday after drawing 0-0
with Warri Wolves in a feisty contest decided in Aba on Sunday. The Peoples Elephant created the better of the opening
exchanges but failed to put away any of the early
chances at the Enyimba
International Stadium as both sides defended when they had to as the much-hyped
contest ended 0-0.
Daniel Etor was sent off for an off-the-ball foul on
Gbolahan Salami in the second half but Enyimba failed to get fazed by the
numerical disadvantage to claim the point they needed to send their fans into
delirium.
Congratulations to them as they become Nigeria's Most
Successful Club ever after previously winning two CAF Champions League crowns
(the only Nigeria club to have won the continent’s elite club competition),
four Federation (FA) Cups, four domestic Super Cups and two continental Super
Cups.
