In an authoritative report earlier today, the publication disclosed that that there are strong indications that former President Goodluck Jonathan may have gone into temporary self exile in Cote d’Ivoire, following reports that the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) may arrest him on his arrival in Nigeria from his overseas tour on allegations of corruption and misappropriation of billions of dollars during his 5-year tenure as president.

"Ivoirian officials in Washington DC confirm to @SaharaReporters that ex- Pres. Goodluck Jonathan has been living there for 2 months," SaharaReporters Tweeted earlier.

As many Nigerians awaits Goodluck Jonathan's official response to the widely reported allegation, the former president, has denied going to the alleged exile in Ivory coast.

"Ex-Pres Goodluck Jonathan has denied going on exile, in text messages to some of his friends in Nigeria, he denies going on exile," SaharaReporters posted on their official Twitter page.

This is a developing story, we'll be bringing you more updates as soon as its made available.
