I recall about 5 years back I came to Awka, there were these set of beggars then. Surprisingly, till now these beggars are still the same, instead they add more and more! My question now is "Is Begging A Hobby?" "You've Begged For 5 Years, What Has Happened To All The Begged Money?" As these and more questions and thoughts keep flooding my thoughts, today as I came to temp site I noticed new beggars were added and these time more fierce and madlike when I asked questions I was told its UNIZIK RAG DAY!
Students of Nnamdi Azikiwe University [UNIZIK] where spotted this morning along temp-site wearing ragged cloths with painting on their face begging for money, saying it's their rag day...These mad beggars rendered the real beggars useless and off work as they left their begging to watch them BEG!
ADVICE - its high time we put an end to this so as people wont concvert this to a way of living as many might not even go back to being students again sef #JustSaying
