As the ongoing Big Brother Naija reality show nears an end with 5 contestants from different tribes in Nigeria still standing strong for the golden price, some politicians in Nigeria have intervened in the campaign process to enhance the chances of success of their favourite participants.
There are reports that some Nigerian leaders are currently financing the SMS voting exercise to keep contestants from their states in the race. Some billboards worth millions of naira and other exotic posters erected at strategic locations all over Nigeria to solicit for support have been spotted overtime.
The 3-month reality which has been graced by 16 contestants thus far remains only people namely Efe, Bisola, Tboss, Debie-Rise and Marvis going head to head in stiff contest for grand prize of N25 million and a brand new Sorento SUV on April 9, 2017.
People's Democratic Party chieftain and governor of Bayelsa State, Henry Seriake Dickson has been accused of expending millions of naira in erecting a bogus billboard for Bisola due to the fact that her mother reportedly hails from his Niger Delta State. The allegation is however, not confirmed, but the billboard still stands strong on the soil of Yenagoa.
Hon. Omosede G. Igbinedion of the People's Democratic Party has also been canvassing for votes for the beautiful Romania-based damsel, T-Boss Idowu due to her bloodline links with Edo State. She recently made the announcement on her official Facebook page.
Igbinedion was elected as the youngest female member into the 8th Assembly of the House of Representatives (Nigeria) in 2015, where she represents the Ovia Federal constituency which consists of Ovia North-East and Ovia South-West Local Government Areas of Edo State.
In addition, recharge cards were reportedly shared among students of the University of Lagos yesterday to boost the votes of the controversial housemate, T-Boss.
Senator Magnus Abe of the All Progressives Congress has also been rooting for Marvis who hails from Port Harcourt, Rivers State. It is not clear if he has been financing the campaign exercise for Marvis who has also made the list of the final 5 as the eviction stops.
Magnus Ngei Abe (born 24 May 1965) is the current senator for the Rivers South East constituency of Rivers State.
Housemate Efe who is one of the favourites for the golden price is currently enjoying the biggest campaign exercise on social media and also on the field. The Warri-born contestant has amassed so much supporters in the South-south part of Nigeria and they have have successfully spread to Lagos State.
They have been be seen organizing rallies and wearing customized clothes.

One wonders the strong hand who is financially behind the excited supporters expending hard currencies in creating the massive awareness for their representative.
The Big Brother Naija show kickstarted on a very contentious note as it was linked with soft p*rnography and other forms of immorality before it finally won the hearts of several critics as the TV programme currently being shot in South Africa progressed.
