Debbiesoul (Deborah Olufa) is a singer, song writer and musicologist. Who started singing at a tender age with incessant support from her family. she got a scholarship to study Voice at the Prestigious MUSON School of Music under the tutelage of Sir Emeka Nwokedi.

She has been cosmopolitan in her repertoire ranging from Baroque to 21st Century, with Italian, French, German, English and Nigerian languages amongst her choice.

Her flexibility makes her second to none in her performances As She’s able to fit in, in other genres of music ranging from Jazz,Soul and even Black Gospel. With some accolades and laurels such As the First runner up Musiquest 2012 in the voice category.

She was a part of the prestigious Muson Diploma choir that performed in Grado, Italy in 2014 for the Isloa De Sole choral competition. She also performed at the Muson Festival in Oct 2015, and 2016 respectively At the jazz night series, The jazzy and classy concert by Wole Oni, the Muson Alumni Pre Valentine’s concert in February 2016 among other performances across the country.

In July 2017 she went on a tour with Tunde Jegede for the New Horizons concert series touring six towns in the United Kingdom as one of the lead singers.

She released her Debut single in July 2017, titled ILEKE written by Timothy Ogunbiyi A friend and Colleague, and Produced by Philip Uzo.

She aspires to be a Jazz/Soul Singer of international repute, infusing a blend of African Tonality in her music.
