Gov Obiano of Anambra State has reiterated the commitment of his administration to ensure that full investigation is carried out to arrest and prosecute everyone connected to the recent shooting at St Phillips Catholic Church, Amakwa, Ozubulu in Ekwusigo Local Government Area of the State.
The governor gave the assurance today during the blessing and dedication of the Church by Catholic Bishop of Nnewi Diocese, Most Rev. Hillary Odili Okeke.
Gov Obiano who was represented by the Secretary to the State Government, Prof Solo Chukwulobelu sympathized with families of the victims emphasizing that such heinous crime won't happen again in Anambra.
"We are dealing with a dangerous gang war that has spilled over to Anambra State from another African country... No suspect, no matter how highly placed, is above the law."
Investigation is in progress and justice must be delivered.
