On the 1st of May, 2017, The Ezeumeanya's Triplets: Ekene, Chiagozie and Elochukwu Ezeumeanya, launched the first ever organization for twins, triplets, quadruplets and other multiple babies in Nigeria, which is Society of Nigerian Twins, Triplets (and other multiple babies.), SON-T. This was after they hosted over 2000 Nigerian youths in their annual national Oratory competition tagged: National Youth Oratory Battle (NAYOB) on the 1st of May, 2017, where they gave out millions of naira to the winners.
Speaking to newsmen in National Assembly Abuja, Nigeria, one of the triplet, Elochukwu Ezeumeanya noted that the organization is geared towards mutual relationship and welfare of the members, remembering lost fellows, upholding the legacy of Mary Slessor who stopped the killing of multiple babies and lots more.
They therefore called on notable born multiple babies, such as PSquare, Aneke twins of Nollywood and many more to join them as they uphold the right of their species.
In his words, he says, "this group consists of ONLY TWINS TRIPLETS QUADRUPLETS and other multiple babies!
And the motive for finding this Union Society of Nigerian Twins and Triplets (SON-T) plus other multiple babies, is to continue fighting for our RIGHTS from where our "savior" Mary Slessor who stopped the killing of multiple babies ended her war!
This union is also founded to unite multiple babies into mutually helping each other in the times of need and want, haven known that we all posses diverse rich talents & are adorably glorious when matched out in group.
The union is also out to address the political system of Nigeria as we all match out to Politicians & seek for our own governmental dividends & other national cakes.
SON-T is also a charitable union to reach out to the less privileged, orphans, physically impaired, down trodden, etc from what we got from sponsors......"
He later added that the organization is strictly meant for people born multiple and not for single born babies.
