The Nigerian Army will as from tomorrow Monday 16th October 2017 hold a 4 day international seminar on the management of asymmetric security challenges at the Nigerian Army Resource Centre (NARC), Abuja, Federal Capital Territory. The theme of the Seminar is “Managing Asymmetric Security Challenges in the 21st Century”.
The participants are drawn from Armed Forces of Nigeria and Security Agencies and 16 friendly nations. Out of total of 150 participants, 56 are from the Armed Forces of 16 friendly countries while 94 are from Armed Forces of Nigeria, Nigeria Police and other Security Agencies.
The Seminar is aimed at achieving the following objectives:
a. To build capacity towards a better understanding and managing of asymmetric security challenges amongst the participants.
b. To draw lessons from the challenges and peculiarities common to all participating countries in the management of asymmetric security challenges.
c. To share knowledge on global asymmetric security challenges.
d. To create better understanding of cultural diversity amongst the participants.
e. To strengthen relationships and encourage interaction amongst the participants.
