Ifeanyi ANIAGOH, Senior Special Assistant on Social Media to Gov Willie Obiano of Anambra State was honoured with the prestigious award of “The Most Valuable Digital Aide 2017” at the Embassy of Ecuador.
Just few days ago, Aniagoh clinched double awards at the Anambra Exclusive Youth Choice Awards winning “The 2017 Popular Youth of the Year (Male)” and “The 2017 Social Media Influencer of the Year.”
The special award was conferred on Aniagoh and few other distinguished honourees by the Young Journalists Forum at the December edition of their monthly media dialogue in collaboration with the Embassy of Ecuador.
Aniagoh is being honoured for his unique strategy in carrying out the duties of his office and his social media influence in the year under review which largely contributed to the victory of his boss in the last gubernatorial election in Anambra State.
Quoting the recognition panel,
“We have watched with keen interest your (Aniagoh’s) social media, strategy that attracted young and decerning Anambra people to your amiable Governor Willie Obiano, during 2017 gubernatorial election. We are therefore pleased to confer you with the prestigious award of the ‘The Most Valuable Digital Aide 2017’”
Ifeanyi Aniagoh as a young graduate of University of Nigeria keyed into the growing need to bridge information gap via the Social Media to carve a niche for himself through blogging and created a blog concept which has evolved into a Digital PR Brand, IB Concept.
With heavy presence on Facebook, thousands of followers on Twitter and good command on WhatsApp, Instagram and Snapchat, Aniagoh led the APGA Social Media crew that played a critical role in 21-over-21 Flawless Victory of All Progressives Grand Alliance in November 18, 2017 Guber Election in Anambra State.
