This pasta has such a creamy and flavorful sauce, and the bacon is crisp that adds an amazing texture. And don’t forget about the egg! It adds even more creaminess to the pasta, which is to die for!

It can be done in just about 30 minutes, so there’s really no excuse for you not to try it out. This recipe for a Spaghetti alla Carbonara is going to change the way you look at quick and easy pastas. Rich and silky spaghetti tossed in a luxurious creamy sauce and loaded with crispy bacon. A classic Italian pasta dish.

Ingredients:

1 lb     Spaghetti
4     Eggs
1½ cups     Grated Parmesan Cheese
8 slices     Bacon, diced
8     Garlic Cloves, minced
    Salt & Ground Black Pepper
¼ cup     Chopped Parsley Leaves

Directions:

In a pot of salted boiling water, cook pasta according to package instructions. Reserve ½ cup water and drain well.

Whisk eggs and 1 cup Parmesan together in a bowl. Set aside.

Heat a skillet over medium heat. Add bacon, and cook for 6-8 minutes until brown and crispy. Reserve excess fat.

Mix in garlic for 1 minute until fragrant. Lower heat.

Stir in pasta and egg mixture. Gently toss pasta and bacon to combine. Season with salt and pepper.

Add reserved pasta water, 1 tbsp. at a time, until desired consistency is reached.

Garnish with parsley leaves, and top with remaining cheese.
