Alright, permit me to air my own view here on behalf of Colossus Gists, I apologize for any hurting choice of words but I'm being real! I won't talk about the Driver, Why? cos he wouldn't have been here if he wasn't invited or booked.
Firstly, I tell my friends and sisters to abstain from anything NIGHT MOVEMENTS cos they'll indeed find that which they kept on the road.
To the victim lady, I'm sorry to say but you're meant to remain where you were till morning, or seek for assistance from someone you know to help you drop you off to your destination than seeking a cab knowing fully well that Nigeria isn't that safe.
I don't know the business you had that couldn't wait till next few hours of the day, cos I believe certain issues can be averted but you can see now that this scenario wasn't.
MY POINT
Now I'm not saying this for anything else than to air my annoyance and anger on this matter. I sincerely don't want to judge by what I see. My anger is on #TAXIFY for letting this matter drag on like this.
I believe Taxify is a Prestigious company that it's main policy should be INTEGRITY. Is it that they don't have good reporting team or IT specialists, or they don't really track their movements or they sleep in the office or that maybe any of the victims work for them or that they are behind the incident.
As a reputable or yet to be company, I have been waiting JUST to hear or see a detailed PRESS REVIEW of this prevailing incident with full tactics and EVIDENCE so as to bring justice open.
I've been chauffeured with Taxify, and the knowledge I should know of them as someone into IT is that all movements are TRACKED AND MONITORED if not why does the app show a Chart/Map and tells the driver where to follow.
If Truly the driver deviated from a predestined Location, it's supposed to be in their dashboard.
I was expecting Taxify to:
1. Release Chart of the Lady as at time of booking and location booked and destination
2. Release Chart of the drivers location and when he came to pickup
3. Release Chart of movement/enroute
4. Release chart of supposed route to destination
5. Release chart of change of route to destination which can either be as regards to a shorter cut or traffic issues
6. Release chart of when the Driver/Passenger canceled the trip
7. Release chart and time of when the passenger booked for another cab as she said.
8. Release chart of exact location of the final incident because as the vehicle paused in movement, it's supposed to record it and bring out the supposed payment.
That being done, all these madness will end, the defaulter pleads guilty and apologize or take court action and pay damages and the defaulted goes to their normal life.
That way people gain satisfaction and confidence in the brand #Taxify which is supposed to be their selling point and difference from the normal Taxi that is a personalized business.
Again to my lady, according to your video that's just real, if you want to take this to court, please take that company TAXIFY too and let's end fraudulent companies here.
Nigeria should grow up and know how they accept any type of company here and not just take bribes and give license to operate.
I rest my case. Let the wisdom of God prevail here
