The Alliance of Collaborating Political Parties (ACPP) in the State of Osun has expressed sadness over the death of Hon. Michael Adeyemo, ex-speaker of Oyo State House of Assembly, saying that the deceased was one of the most accommodating, generous and refined politicians Oyo State has produced.
This was contained in a release issued and signed by the association’s Chairman, Prince Adeleke Adesoji Masilo in Osogbo on Monday.
According to the release
“On behalf of all politicians and Kings in the State of Osun, we received the shocking death of ex-Oyo Assembly Speaker, Hon. Michael Adeyemo with bewilderment. Ex-Oyo Assembly Speaker, Michael Adeyemo has contributed immensely to the development of contemporary politics and legislative arm of the state.
This is a great lesson to all of us. Adeyemo is gone now but his good works and contributions will linger in the memory of his people forever. And thank God he left good children behind”.
The statement further contained that,
“His passage is a great loss not only to his state and constituents but the entire nation. His vibrant leadership in coordinating the affairs of the House would be greatly missed. Such interventions have contributed to shaping state discourse.”

The pioneer Chairman of IPAC (State of Osun Chapter) takes solace in the biblical injunction that every soul shall taste death and therefore, prayed for the repose of the soul of the departed lawmaker.

He also prayed to God to grant the Adeyemo Family of Alaarun compound, Lanlate, Ibarapa East Local Government Area of Oyo State, Governor Abiola Ajimobi, the Chairman, Oyo State Council of Traditional rulers, His Imperial Majesty, Oba Lamidi Adeyemi III, Alaafin of Oyo, the State executives and members of NBA and the entire people of Oyo State the fortitude to bear the loss,”

the statement added.
