The Ona of Abaji/chairman of the FCT council of traditional rulers, Alhaji Adamu Baba Yunusa, has advised principals of federal government colleges to provide adequate security in their schools.
Adamu, who made the call during a valedictory service for graduating students of Federal Government College, Abaji, frowned at the fact that adequate security was lacking in the school.
He, however, commended the federal ministry of education for sitting the college at his domain, just as he urged the college principal to maintain the approved percentage for the natives of the area.
Also speaking, the director of basic and secondary education represented by Mrs. Enelichi Francisca, congratulated the graduating students and reminded them of more challenges ahead.
Earlier, the principal of the school, Mrs. Sodangi Jummai Binta, explained that the school has graduated 14 sets of students since it was established in 1999.
Binta commended the immense contribution of the federal ministry of education for providing the college with the required manpower and facilities to run the college.
