The Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU) was the host of the first edition of the MTN Pulse Campus Invasion which began on Monday 2nd of July and concluded on Friday, 6th of July 2018.

Fun activities ushered in the Campus Invasion as the MTN Sales Village became a hub for the students to relax, have fun and win some gifts.

Any transaction at the Sales stand entitled the person to a ticket at the raffle draw in the evening, and many exhilarated students left with phone gifts!
Friday was the mega finale with various activities occurring simultaneously, including the highly anticipated Pulse Talk Series.
OAU Students came in their numbers to enjoy themselves and learn too.
Life and Business Strategist, Steve Harris, shared his relatable experiences with the audience.
Award-winning makeup artist, Bimpe Onakoya, explained the simple steps she took to succeed.
And we were touched by the moving story of MTN Foundation scholar, Ifeoma Okoro Anthonia, who was a visually challenged young woman who had risen above herself to become an author and an inspiration.
The MTN Pulse District, the go-to-center for fun, was also open for everyone.
There were several booths at the Pulse District such as the MTN Pulse Sales booth.
The Noiseless Party booth at the Pulse District had the students jamming to the hottest songs that no one else could hear. It was a Silent 'Partay'!
The queue for the Noiseless party booth went on for miles!
There were virtual games too.
