Ekiti state governor and the Chairman of the Nigerian Governors Forum, Kayode Fayemi, has said that state governors will be taking the COVID19 vaccines on live television to demonstrate to their residents that the vaccine works. Governor Fayemi disclosed this to state house correspondents after a closed-door meeting with President Buhari where security, the economy, and vaccine management were discussed. When asked if governors will also take the vaccine on live television, Governor Fayemi said “Absolutely. We too will like to demonstrate to our citizens that we believe that vaccines would work. Don’t forget, we have a lot of experience on this.
