Manchester City beat Fulham 3-0 on Saturday night, to go 17 points clear at the top of the Premier League table.
The match marked Aguero’s return to Pep Guardiola’s starting line-up for just the fifth time across all competitions this season.
The hosts kept City quiet in the first half and went to the break still on level terms.
John Stones put the Etihad side in front just after half-time, before Gabriel Jesus doubled the lead for Guardiola’s men.
Aguero then scored from the penalty spot, putting the result well out of reach for Fulham.
The result leaves City on 71 points from 30 matches, ahead of second-placed Man United, while Fulham remain stuck in a relegation battle in 18th place on 26 points.
