Slavia Prague have promised to respect the outcome of UEFA’s investigations into their controversial clash with Rangers and take action if necessary.
The Czech club has denied racism accusations against their player, Ondrej Kudela.
Slavia also accused his alleged victim, Gers midfielder Glen Kamara, of punching his opponent after their Europa League game last Thursday.
Kamara however claims Kudela’s version of the incident was a “complete and utter lie”.
On Monday, a statement published on Slavia’s Twitter account read in part: “Everything that happened in Glasgow is now being examined by UEFA and – on our initiative – by Scottish police.
“We believe everything will be investigated and we will respect the decision. If the outcome warrants it, we will act.
“We hope that the situation will not escalate further and we will know the outcome of the investigation soon.”
This comes amid calls for Slavia Prague, who have been drawn against Arsenal in the quarter-final, to be kicked out of the Europa League.
Rangers legend, Kris Boyd, has told UEFA that a heavy fine will not be enough and drastic action must be taken.
