Chelsea boss, Thomas Tuchel has said that he would prefer a Champions League semi-final clash with Real Madrid instead of Liverpool.
The German gaffer said he does not want to face teams from the same league as his sides in Europe.
Chelsea booked their place in the semi-finals for the first time in seven years after a 2-1 aggregate win against Porto in Sevilla on Tuesday.
Mehdi Taremi struck at stoppage time to give Porto a 1-0 win but the victory was not enough to see the Portuguese through to the next round.
Chelsea will now wait for the winner between Liverpool and Real Madrid with the Spanish side leading the Premier League outfit 3-1 on aggregate.
And Tuchel said he typically prefers to avoid teams from the same league in European knockout games.
“I don’t wish for anything but in general I like it in the Champions League not to play teams from your own league,” the Chelsea manager told BT Sport.
“Because it gets a bit more the feeling of the European competition but that’s the only thing. Whoever deserves it – I think the game is far from over – but I will watch it for sure.”
