Chelsea boss, Thomas Tuchel has issued a strong warning to his players after their 2-1 win over Leicester City on Tuesday.

Antonio Rudiger and Jorginho fired the Blues into third place in the Premier League table, while Kelechi Iheanacho pulled one back for the visitors.

Another win for Chelsea over Aston Villa in their last league game on Sunday will guarantee them Champions League football next season.

Tuchel acknowledged the importance of the win but was quick to point out there is more work to do before the west London side can celebrate.

‘It’s a big step, but it’s only a step,” he told Sky Sports.

“It’s not done yet, we have to push it over the line on Sunday.

“But it’s not the time for celebrations, it’s not the time for praise, it’s not the time for thinking it’s more than three points.

“It’s actually only three points and there’s another three to get on Sunday and we have to be prepared and aware to finish the job.”

Chelsea’s next game is on Sunday away at Villa Park against Aston Villa in the last league game of the campaign.
