Chelsea boss, Thomas Tuchel has said that his Manchester City counterpart, Pep Guardiola has told him the tactics he (Pep) would deploy when both sides clash in the Champions League final later this month.
Pep Guardiola and Tuchel have met twice since the German replaced Frank Lampard at Stamford Bridge in January.
And the former PSG boss has had the upper hand guiding Chelsea to a 1-0 win over City in their FA Cup semi-final showdown at Wembley last month, and coming from behind to beat them 2-1 in the Premier League at the Etihad Stadium.
Tuchel will now be hoping that the same outcome occurs when they clash on May 29, which, of course, will be the biggest of the victories.
Ahead of the kick-off of the Premier League game on Saturday, both Tuchel and Guardiola were spotted locked in deep conversation by the side of the pitch.
Tuchel was asked the question about what they had been talking about, and he said, “He [Guardiola] told me the tactics of the Champions League final, I now know everything!” According to Football.London
“We had a long relationship from Munich, he was at Dortmund and Mainz.
“Yes, he is a good guy.”
