Manchester United manager, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, has confirmed the latest update on his team ahead of their Premier League clash with Leicester City on Tuesday evening.
Solskjaer said that Amad Diallo and Shola Shoretire are in contention to feature for Man United against Leicester City at Old Trafford.
The Norwegian also admitted that it was impossible for him to play the same XI that defeated Aston Villa last weekend against Leicester today.
Man United head to the game after beating Aston Villa 3-1 last Sunday.
“They [Amad and Shoretire] are in contention, yeah, definitely and they’re in the first-team squad,” Solskjaer said at his pre-match press conference.
“They’re training with us every day, so I would think that some of the young boys will get an appearance. If it’s coming on towards the end or starting, I don’t know because I don’t know how the players will be on Tuesday when we see them.”
“I wish I could have said let’s go full out in all the games, “he added. “But it’s impossible. That’s the hard bit for me – knowing that if I do play the same XI again on Tuesday and Thursday, it’s impossible.”
The kick-off time for Man United vs Leicester is 6 pm.
