7. An American business magnate, software developer, Bill Gates and Melinda Gates have announced they are divorcing after 27 years of marriage. On Monday, Gates, 65, announced their decision in a tweet.
8. The Defence Headquarters on Monday assured that the Armed Forces of Nigeria remain fully committed to the present administration and all associated democratic institutions. This was contained in a statement by Brigadier General Onyema Nwachukwu, Director of Defence Information.
9. The Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) says the closure of courts across the country is a humiliation of the country’s democracy. The NBA urged governors to meet the demands of the Judiciary Staff Union of Nigeria (JUSUN).
10. Gunmen suspected to be Fulani herdsmen have attacked the Tse Amgbem community near Aondoana in Gwer West Local Government Area of Benue State killing 19 residents. The state’s Police Public Relations Officer, PPRO DSP Anene Sewuese Catherine confirmed the incident.
