Arsenal have rejected a third bid from Roma manager, Jose Mourinho, trying to lure Granit Xhaka to Italy, according to Roma Press.
Xhaka is a top target for Mourinho as the Portuguese looks to rebuild Roma for the 2021/2022 season.
The 28-year-year has two years left on his current contract with Arsenal.
Arsenal manager, Mikel Arteta, has been left unimpressed with the bids so far for Swiss midfielder.
Arteta is expected to see Xhaka leave Emirates after five years, with the club following another mixed season.
The Spaniard is looking to replace Xhaka with Wolves’ Ruben Neves.
