Deji Adeyanju, popular Abuja based activist has called out President Muhammadu Buhari and the Inspector General of Police, Usman Alkali Baba over the killing of Zamfara residents by bandits.
Adeyanju, convener of Concerned Nigerians, described Alkali Baba as a clown.
Recall that bandits had killed over 90 people in Kadawa village of Zurmi Local Government Area of Zamfara State.
The state Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), SP Shehu Mohammed confirmed the incident.
Reacting, Adeyanju wondered why the IGP would not send officers after the bandits but opted to attack June 12 protesters.
In a tweet, Adeyanju wrote: “Bandits kill 93 in Zamfara, gov calls for self -defence.
“Buhari and the clown who calls himself IGP won’t get angry and send officers after these killers but when it’s time to attack protesters, you will see them acting in Commando style. #June12thProtest.”
