Nigeria will play Cameroon in a friendly game this Friday.

The match has been put together, to help the Super Eagles prepare for their 2022 World Cup qualification games against Liberia and Cape Verde in September.

Gernot Rohr’s squad has been hit with several withdrawals, including Victor Osimhen, Tyronne Ebuehi, Ola Aina, Simy Nwankwo, Frank Onyeka and Samson Tijani.

However, some key members like Ahmed Musa, Paul Onuachu, Alex Iwobi and Kelechi Iheanacho are available.

The game against the Indomitable Lions will be the Super Eagles’ third international game in 2021. Their last two outings have been qualifiers for the Africa Cup of Nations.

This is the second time Nigeria will play Cameroon in two years.

All the Super Eagles players Rohr dropped for Cameroon friendly confirmed

Rohr’s men won the last encounter at the 2019 AFCON Round of 16 encounter in Alexandria.

This international friendly will be played at the Wiener Neustadt Stadium in Vienna and kick off is 20:30 (West African TIme) on Friday, June 4.

The match will be aired on AIT and SuperSport.
