A Nigerian socio-political activist, Reno Omokri, has claimed that President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration has similar feature with that of Taliban terrorists who recently took over Afghanistan and rebranded the country as Islamic ‘Emirate of Afghanistan’.

Reno, the former aide to Nigerian ex-president, Goodluck Jonathan, in a post on his verified Facebook page on Thursday, said the Nigerian President hates unbelievers like the Talibans.

He also claimed that Buhari and the Minister of Communication, Isa Pantami hate free speech like the terrorist group, linking it to the recent suspension of a social medium, Twitter.

Afghanistan: Taliban vows to impose Islamic law worldwide

Reno wrote, “What is the difference between Buhari’s government and the Taliban?

“The Taliban are against free speech, Buhari banned Twitter. They hate unbelievers, Buhari’s minister, Pantami, is happy when unbelievers are killed.

“The Taliban has their Mullah, Buhari has Gumi! The Taliban protect their fighters, Buhari protects his killer herdsmen kinsmen.

“The Taliban kill those who do not subscribe to their brand of Islam, Buhari kills Shiites. So, again, I ask you, what is the difference between Buhari’s government and the Taliban”?
