The Chairman of the Ward Congress Appeal Committee of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for Osun State, Ambassador Obed Wadzani has revealed that the job of the committee at the state party secretariat on Saturday was completed despite the crisis unleashed by some aggrieved party members.
Wadzani made this known at the party secretariat in Osogbo on Saturday at the end of the committee sitting.
The chairman who spoke with journalists at the end of the proceedings stated that the committee’s proceedings was not disrupted.
He disclosed that all the petitioners who were invited later adopted their petitions, adding that some had legal representation who also adopted the petitions on behalf of their clients.
Recall that security at the party’s secretariat in Ogo-Oluwa Area of Osogbo was threatened after thugs invaded and unleashed mayhem on party members.
They, however, were unable to disrupt the appeal committee’s proceedings as they remained in the premises under tight security.
Security men were seen escorting members of the APC appeal committee out of the party secretariat at the end of the proceedings.
