Crystal Palace manager, Patrick Vieira, has said he will always be an Arsenal fan and remained coy on if he will return to the club.

The former Gunners skipper saw his side denied three points on Monday night, thanks to a last-gasp Alexandre Lacazette goal.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang opened scoring for Mikel Arteta’s men, before Palace turned the scoreline around through Christian Benteke and Odsonne Eduoard

After the game, Vieira asked about the loud ovation he got from the Arsenal fans and if he is thinking of returning to the Emirates in a managerial capacity.

The Frenchman, who only took the Palace role this summer, replied: “I spent nine years here and we played some really good football at times.

“I am always going to love this football club and the fans. I will always be an Arsenal fan.

“Having said that, I am really blessed to be in a really good club with good foundation, that allows me to coach a good team.

“I think Crystal Palace is a really exciting football club. I am surrounded by people who really want to improve the club and I am enjoying myself there.
