he leadership of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) on Friday, appointed three principal officers to oversee the activities of Northeastern region.
This followed the emergency of former Senate President, Iyorchia Ayu as the consensus candidate for the position of the National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party for the North Central zone.
In a statement on Friday by Alhaji Musa Sunusi, Media Secretary, PDP Zonal Headquarter, Northeast, Bauchi, he said three officials were appointed to take charge of North east;
Amb. Umar Damagun:
Deputy National Chairman North.
(Yobe). Hon. Ahmad Yayari Mohammed:
National Treasurer.
(Gombe). Hon. Adamu Kamale:
Deputy National Financial Secretary.
(Adamawa).
He said, the appointed candidates would be presented to the entire PDP family during the meeting which holds on October 2021.
He boasted that, with the selection of credible leaders, PDP was bound to takeover the mantle of leadership in 2023, and by the Grace of God, Nigerians would surely witness and enjoy dividend of democracy.
