Three Manchester United top stars have requested to leave the club in January, according to Daily Mail.
The transfer window returns in January and Dean Henderson, Donny van de Beek and Phil Jones are seeing it as an opportunity to ply their trades else where.
Players such as Van de Beek had complained bitterly over lack of action under Ole Gunner Solskjaer.
Many pundits have also questioned United’s aim of signing the Dutch midfielder since he is making no impact at the club.
For Henderson, the England goalkeeper last season fought hard to become Manchester United number one with De Gea watching him from the bench but the plan has disrupted this season after he suffered from COVID-19 in July.
David de Gea has seized the chance to reclaim his spot as Man United’s first choice in goal after sharing duties last season.
Daily Mail reports that the 24-year-old Henderson will consider leaving United in January with Newcastle United thought to be one of the clubs weighing up a move.
The report added that Dutch star, van de Beek and Jones are also likely to seek exits.
Van de Beek has made it off the bench in United’s last two matches but has just two starts in 16 games across all competitions this term.
Jones, meanwhile is fit again after a nightmare run with injuries, last featuring for the club in the 6-0 win over Tranmere in January 2020.
