Banky wore a traditional dress with a matching cap while the wife wore a beautiful red dress.
Actor Gabriel Afolayan took the huge step in his life by choosing a wife after many years of living life as a bachelor. He is a graduate of Theater Arts, University of Ibadan and has starred in various blockbuster Yoruba movies.
He is part of the renowned Afolayan entertainment family that comprises Ade Love, Kunle Afolayan and Aremu Afolayan.
The jaws of Nigerians and fans around the world dropped when Banky W announced his engagement to the stunning and talented actress, Adesua Etomi.

Banky W and Adesua Etomi tied the knots at a well-attended traditional wedding ceremony held at Landmark event centre yesterday.

There’s an ongoing sale of tickets to Banky W and Adesua Etomi‘s wedding happening sometime this month, the singer has revealed.
Banky on his Twitter page on Tuesday, revealed that the tickets to the wedding are being offered to people for N35,000, adding that no one should patronize anyone selling them.
He wrote:
Lol so I hear there are “tickets to the wedding” on sale for 35k. Anyone who believes that, there are some people very ready to sell u other things like “your bvn is blocked” and “I have an Uncle who will dash you $5 mill if u wire just 500k”. Good luck!

One Instagram user has come for top Nigerian comedian, Bovi, over the joke he made about Banky W and Adesua Etomi’s engagement at his Man on fire show.
The comedian had made series of jokes about the engagement, like how he(Banky) slid into the actress’s DM as a comedian, his spelling of “Maary” instead of “marry” during his proposal and all.
This IG user took it really personal and also slid into the comedian’s DM and dropped a few words for him… a few? hmph!
The newest flagship smartphones from Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd., the Galaxy S8 and S8+, have been launched into the Nigerian market, following their unveiling at the company’s unpacked event in New York.
The devices feature polished metal chassis covered by curved Gorilla Glass 5 on the front and back. The devices are available in Midnight Black, Orchid Gray and Maple Gold colours with internal memory of 64GB and up to 256GB microSD support.
Boasting some of the largest wrap-around screens ever made, the long-awaited Galaxy S8 and S8+ come with 5.8-inch (14.73 cm) and 6.2-inch (15.75 cm) curved screens, respectively. Both devices have 1,440X2,960 screen resolution and are equipped 3,000mAh and 3,500mAh batteries, respectfully.
The display quality is Super AMOLED, featuring a new design named “infinity display”, which wraps around the devices in a smooth, perfectly curved pristine end-to-end screen, giving it a perfect symmetry while eliminating the bezels. Thanks to the new display, the physical home button usually located in the front of the phone has been replaced with a digital home button, built in the glass. Both devices feature a rear-mounted fingerprint reader, quite close to the camera lens.
Speaking at the launch event, Managing Director, Samsung Electronics West Africa, Paul Lee said,

The Galaxy S8 and S8+ come with exciting new features for remarkable user experience. The extended screen is perfect for multitasking. Users can open their favorite IM app whilst watching a video simultaneously, by using Multi Window; this is same for typing text with the full keyboard without having to hide the video.
The smartphones offer five types of security technologies: iris recognition, face recognition, pattern, password, and PIN; users can easily choose their preferred method. Users can use the iris scanner to unlock their devices without having to swipe the phone. With Face Recognition, users can instantly unlock their devices with just a look even without the PIN or pattern; simply look into the camera on the lock screen and the device is unlocked.
The Galaxy S8 and S8+ 12 MP rear camera utilizes Dual Pixel technology for incredibly fast autofocus, allowing users capture important moments even in low-lit environments. Samsung did revamp the front-facing camera to an 8MP with autofocus. This will definitely excite ‘selfie queens and kings’ as pictures come out sharp and vibrant.
The Galaxy S8 and S8+ are IP68-certified for dust and water. This feature protects the device from immersion in up to 1.5m of fresh water for 30 minutes, allowing users capture memories at pool parties or on the beach with loved ones.

According to the couple, they’ve been engaged since February. And, Banky has been on Adesua’s ‘case’ since 2015.

Banky W’s expectation of masculinity excludes the male folk who are generous enough to accompany their woman to a cosmetics shop, the iconic singer shared this view on his Twitter this morning.
The conversation started when a female Twitter user advised her followers to find themselves a man who would not be ashamed of accompanying them to a cosmetics store.
“Find a man who’s gonna go inside Sephora with you & help you find a lip color that looks good on you rather than a man who stands outside,” said the Twitter user @AmbitiousGlow.
The post generated conversation from many people across the world, one of them, a man, admitted to accompanying his partner to the popular Sephora store, a memorable event he still can’t forget. “I’ve only been in there once but it was the most confusing 45 minutes of my life,” the man, @2and2Jones said.
Well, the conversation changed when Nigeria’s Banky W waded in, saying that a man who does such could be a homosexual. “There’s a slight chance that man you’re looking for is gay… but hey whatever floats your boat,” the EME boss said.
The singer’s comment brings to mind how fragile masculinity is. To some men, certain expressions or cultures are ‘unmanly’, as such the sexuality of those who practice them is open to doubt.
A recent example was when music producer Swizz Beatz shared the video of his food-tasting experience in Italy, where a male chef spooned food into his mouth to taste and approve. To thousands of Americans on his Instagram, that is ‘gay behaviour’, and they dragged the producer for this.
Other times includes when African Americans dragged Nigeria’s Olamide after The Shade Room posted a photo of the rapper in which he wore a pair of sandals. The African American men following the page made derogatory comments, questioned Olamide’s sexuality. For them, wearing a pair of sandals (despite the fact that Olamide lives in Nigeria, in tropic Africa), was a confirmation that he is gay.
Now, Banky W has set a new bar for men: your sexuality is in doubt if you dare accompany your partner to shop for cosmetics.
