Following the release of his debut production ‘Brother Jekwu’, Nollywood actor cum producer, Mike Ezuruonye has revealed that he is working on releasing a new movie titled ‘Divorce? Not Allowed’.
The romantic comedy movie which will be released to the cinemas later in the year will be the actor’s first production since his training at a film school in Toronto. The star actor explains that the movie though a romantic comedy, has a strong message; one that will teach a lot of lessons and engage the viewers.
‘Divorce? Not Allowed’ focuses on men who are going through difficult marriages but are not bold enough to divorce their wives, and instead go as far as setting up scandals for themselves just to get away.
It highlights different situations of different men; one who would not divorce his wife because he is too comfortable in her riches and would rather take any nonsense from her than leave and be uncomfortable; and another who couldn’t comprehend the changes in his recently born again wife and so looked for different means to divorce her, but she wouldn’t leave.
The movie stars Mike Ezuruonye, Iyabo Ojo, Bolanle Ninalowo, Kehinde Olorunyomi, Angel Okorie and many new faces.
Star actress cum film maker, Iyabo Ojo has maintained sealed lips on the alleged romance with Salvation Ministries’ David Ibiyiomie.
All efforts to get her reactions on the story proved abortive as all the calls put through to her mobile line on Thursday, February 23, Friday, February 24, Saturday, February 25 and Monday, February 27, 2017 were ignored. We also sent her a text, all to no avail.
Our text message to the mother of two children read:
“Hello, my beautiful sister. Calling to seek your reaction to the story flying that you’re dating Salvation Ministries’ pastor, David Ibiyiomie and that he’s the one who gave you the Range Rover jeep you’re cruising around in. I will be expecting your response soon. Thanks!”
Meanwhile, social media has been awash with the story of the pretty thespian’s clandestine affair with the Port Harcourt, Rivers state based clergy. And that has been an item on the lips of many within and outside the industry since the news broke a couple of days back.
According to the report, the talented role interpreter who is also the CEO, Fespris Productions has been savouring juicy romance with the eloquent preacher and has been enjoying robust attention from the latter since they met a couple of years back. Not only that, Pastor Ibiyiomie was reportedly responsible for the sudden wealth of the Ogun born film maker, including one of her luxury cars-a Range Rover jeep, her massive outfit on Allen, her new abode in Lekki, Lagos and more.
But when contacted Ojo with a view to hearing her side of the story, she refused to talk.
