Mercy Johnson may have sparked divorce rumours after she deleted all the photos on her Instagram page, including those of her husband, Prince Odi Okojie.
However, the Nollywood actress wants you to know that she does not feel bad about the rumours because they are not true.
During a recent interview with Punch's Saturday Beats, Mercy jokingly stated that she would never return the beautiful wedding ring she received from her husband.
Despite the fact that she debunked the divorce rumours a few days after they began, by posting a cosy picture of her and her hubby, we do feel better hearing her state this in clear terms.
Mercy said,
“I did not feel bad when I read the news that my marriage was hitting the rocks because it was not true. I am very comfortable in my own space and I am not out to please anybody. I am always true to myself and I continue to be a happy person.
"There was absolutely no problem between my husband and me, I only deleted the old pictures on my Instagram page. They were old so I deleted them to post new ones. I am not letting my husband go; even when he is angry, I would beg him. You see these beautiful rings that he has given to me, I am never returning them,” she said.
The mother-of-three also revealed high hopes for a fourth child, a topic which has been up for speculation since she was delivered of her third child after being married for barely four years at the time.
“I am going to have another baby very soon. I am obsessed with children and while growing up, I had always wanted to have four children, so we have to complete the equation,” she said.
Every time we get to see these guys, they are always giving us couple goals with their constant display of love and affection.

During the last Valentine's day, Prince Odi penned down a very cute message for his wife via his Instagram page.
"My Valentine Baby......I Love you Irrevocably and Lavishly! You're my All in All. Happy Valentine's Day @mercyjohnsonokojie," he wrote.
It would be recalled that back in January 2018, the gist of a possible marriage crisis in the Okojie's family began to filter the air after Mercy Johnson deleted all her husband's photos from her Instagram page.

Over the weekend movie stars Mercy Johnson Okojie and Juliet Ibrahim, who have been hosting the GloMegaMusic Tour in the past couple of weeks, were spotted at the Abuja edition rocking gorgeous African print outfits.
Both ladies took the night in a glammed up Asoebi look by wearing same Ankara outfits. Juliet decided to wear hers in a dungaree style Ankara made by Sammielle Couture and she dressed the outfit up by accessorizing it with heels while Mercy’s look was an off the shoulder mid-length dress also made by Sammielle Couture and styled by Rogerstimi.

Nollywood actress Mercy Johnson Okojie‘s husband Prince Odi‘ is a year older today, and to celebrate the big day the actress took to her Instagram page to write the sweetest message to her husband accompanied by a slideshow.
She wrote:

Kondo Game, an intriguing Nollywood comedy movie, featuring Nollywood A-listers like Jide Kosoko, Mercy Johnson, Uche Jombo, Francis Odega, Mercy Aigbe, Cossy Ojiakor and Funny Bone, is set to arrive the cinemas.
The comic adventure movie depicts life in the police barracks and follows the antics of two notorious police officers, Austin and Vincent who take the viewers on an unending laughter ride.
Portrayed by Francis Odega and Funnybone, the two police officers would later be faced with controversial tasks. With a sloppy boss, Jide Kosoko, to contend with, Austin and Vincent are locked in between crime busting and bursting a romantic fling with a voluptuous mistress, played by Cossy Ojiakor, who runs a beer parlour in the neighbourhood.
Cossy’s exploit heightens the rib-cracking comic adventure.
In a brief chat with PT, the producer of the movie, Maryam Harris, said the need to create a film at par with Hollywood necessitated the huge investment and quality of the movie’s cast and crew.
On why so many A-list stars are featured in the movie, Ms. Harris said that the plot of the movie calls for a star-studded cast that many Nollywood buffs can relate with.
“The presence of some of these stars alone commands laughter. The script is set to dazzle movie lovers using events around them, but retold in dramatic and hilarious ways using remarkable cast.
We saw the needed to create a film that is highly entertaining and have committed huge investment to achieve a first-rate production,” she added.
While speaking during the inauguration of 54 of both Senior and Special Assistants on Monday, Kogi State Governor, Yahaya Bello, has reiterated that his administration was determined to go after those who stole the common wealth of the people in the past years and recover such loot.
The governor warned them not to see their appointments which was made about three weeks ago, as an opportunity to enrich themselves.
Gov. Bello said that in the past, some government appointees looted and diverted fund meant for the development to erect Filling Stations, Hotels and Housing Estates at the expense of the people.
“We must go after them to recover the looted fund for use of the common people in the state,” he stated.
He charged the new appointees to embark on selfless services as well as make sacrifices for the betterment of the people who elected the government, stressing that any one who is not ready to serve will be shown his way out.
In a vote of thanks, Senior Special Assistant, SSA on Entertainment to the Governor, Mrs Mercy Johnson Okojie commended the Governor for being gender sensitive.
She said Bello has united the people of the state ever than before through people oriented policies and programmes.

On the 14th of March 2017, Nollywood actress Mercy Johnson-Okojie was appointed the Senior Special Assistant(SSA) to the Kogi State Governor Yahaya Bello, on Entertainment, Arts and Culture.
Her husband, Prince Odianonsen Okojie released a statement in reaction to the appointment.

‘ON MY WIFE, MRS MERCY JOHNSON OKOJIE’S APPOINTMENT AS SENIOR SPECIAL ASSISTANT(SSA) ON ENTERTAINMENT, ARTS AND CULTURE TO THE GOVERNOR OF KOGI STATE, HIS EXCELLENCY GOVERNOR YAHAYA BELLO.
First and foremost let me cease this opportunity to again thank God Almighty for sparing our lives till this moment and also for this honour He has deemed my beautiful and adorable wife worthy of.
In the event of this congratulatory message, I also want to specifically and categorically say that I, Prince Odianosen Okojie gives my full consent and support of any kind to my wife Mrs Mercy Johnson Okojie on her recent appointment as Senior Special Assistant to the Governor of Kogi State on Entertainments, Arts and Culture.
