Square Record duo Peter and Paul were arguably the biggest music duo Naija and even Africa at large has ever produced. These talented identical twins cop the stage names Mr P and Rudeboy. They were extremely exceptional and had international collaborations with Rick Ross and Akon to mention a few.

Aside being awesome at dropping good music, they put in more vibes in official visuals with several dancing steps, especially their MJ-like break-dance. They were managed by their elder brother Jude Okoye.

For several years, things went along pretty well for the record label until 2017. The team had management issues which led to their separation that same year.

Mr P and Rudeboy went solo and have dropped solo singles which has fallen below expectation.

Who is better? Taking into account the individual singles released in 2018: Rudeboy – Reason With Me is the best song he let out so far this year. After listening to this wonderful emotional tune, you would quickly draw out that he is the voice of P-Square. Now, kindly rewind back to Ifunnaya or any songs on P-Square’s projects, you could create a case for him as the mastermind behind the songs sang by P-Square though we can not be certain about who gives the most input when it comes to lyrics.

On the other hand, check out Mr P – One More Night Ft. Niniola; with awesome dancing steps and chorography. Owning to this attribute, Mr P can be said to be the better dancer and thus the mastermind behind the dancing move in most of the awesome musical videos released by P-square.

From these, we can say that Rudeboy is arguably the better singer and could be the song content maker while Mr P is the better dancer and spices up all the music videos with good vibes. Now, if P-Square was a cake, then Rudeboy is the cake-mix while Mr P is the icing.

They have been struggling ever since their disintegrationbecause they complement each other. In fact, on a solo platform they are both like upcoming artistes struggling to blow. With all these taking into consideration, it would be a smart move for them to re-unite and clear their differences.

One Named Peter, of the PSquare duo who recently got separated was able to relate his mind to the public as to the fight in their families

See excerpts below;

“It has been fun till like probably late 2013. 30 children cannot continue to play together for 30 years. We are at a point where we no longer have respect for each other…. Respect as an individual, and as family. This is the best solution we could come to.” “To the fans, we’re sorry.

You don’t want to see P-Square on stage when they just fought back stage; pleasing you guys when we are not happy. I’ve tried many times to make it work but it did not work. .

We are not okay. It’s not healthy. I don’t have any problem with their own family. The wives, everybody. I am cool with them. I don’t know what’s wrong. I don’t know why it looks as if the hatred is on my family. I’ve tried to ask them what the problem is but nobody is telling me anything. .

It’s like saying Mr Charles and Mr James are business partners and they own a beverage factory together. Mr Charles and his partner work together but Mr Charles doesn’t like his partner’s family. All the time, he insults the family. All the time, he says s*** about the family.

All the time he doesn’t attend the family’s functions. Do you expect two of them to still be working together? Be honest with yourself. .

Why he started responding to social media comments: “When my brother put out that he sings and writes all the songs. I never responded but right now, there are 50% of our fans and some groups that believe Peter doesn’t sing. All because I wanted peace. But now if you say anything about me, I will respond.

I don’t respond harshly if you’ve noticed. I’m not like last year. I decided to calm down because my family is more important here. I cannot trade my family. If you do not like it, don’t be my fan. If you do not like the fact that I am standing for my family, then you should not be my fan and I am serious about it.

My brother is my twin, fine, but you keep telling me blood is thicker than water. Obviously you think Paul is my blood and my family is the water? You guys better be out of your minds."

The intention of Peter Okoye of Psquare to terminate contract with the Psquare brand dominated searches on Google Nigeria this week.

Google’s spokesman, Mr Taiwo Kola-Ogunlade, made this known in a dispatch to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Thursday in Lagos.

“Psquare’s Peter Okoye is reported to have indicated intentions to terminate his contract with the Psquare brand.

“The news was confirmed yesterday by his lawyer, Mr Festus Keyamo, who said that the identical twin brothers had had several feuds in the past, and efforts are being made to reconcile them.

“Concerned fans searched Google for updates on the situation,’’ he said.

NAN reports that Peter and his twin brother, Paul, are hip-hop sensation with the popular stage name, Psquare, which dominated the Nigerian music industry for years.

According to Kola-Ogunlade, celebrity news dominated this week’s top trending search terms on Google Nigeria, as the news of the death of a Nollywood actor and producer, Friday Ugwu, also trended.

He noted that the actor, popularly known as Okaka De Don, was involved in a fatal road accident on the Lagos-Badagry Expressway last Friday.

Kola-Ogunlade said that the death, which was confirmed by the Actors’ Guild of Nigeria, made the deceased’s fans to log onto Google to confirm the sad report.

According to the manager, Google birthday surprise spinner also got people’s attention online.

“Google celebrated 19th birthday, and as part of the celebration, the company launched a Google Doodle inviting users to explore 19 of its most memorable doodles launched over the past 19 years.

“Google users in Nigeria raced to Google to give the doodle a spin,’’ he said.

He said that fans of American hip-hop artiste, Belcalis Almanzar, popularly referred to, by her stage name, Cardi B, also took to Google to watch the video of her record- breaking song, ‘Bodak Yellow.
The manager noted that the artiste had officially become the first female rapper to top the Billboard Hot 100 in 19 years.

He said that her hit ‘Bodak Yellow’ trended for months before finally climbing to the number one spot of the chat.
The Google manager also noted that American reality television star, Kylie Jenner, was rumoured to be pregnant for current boyfriend, Travis Scott.

“The couple sparked pregnancy rumours some weeks back when both shared insinuative messages on social media that got their fans suggesting that the reality star was pregnant.

“Kylie’s fans in Nigeria took to Google to search for more pictures of the couple,’’ he said.

Kola-Ogunlade said that Ghana’s 4-1 defeat to Nigeria on Sunday in the 2017 WAFU Nations Cup Final also dominated Google searches.
“Football fans raced to Google to search for more details about the match,’’ he said.

NAN reports that Google Trends launched in May, 2006, allows one to see how popular search terms and their  demography have been overtime on Google.

When I heard P-Square is fighting (AGAIN!), the first thing I did was stroll over to Lola Omotayo-Okoye’s comments section to see what’s going on over there and I wasn’t disappointed a bit. Nigerians have as usual camped out on the woman’s page insulting and advising her to fix her family.

You see, Lola who is married to one half of the singing duo, Peter, has somehow always managed to be dragged into whatever fight P-Square is having. Fans of the music group and Nigerians in general never hesitate to brandish their weapons and point accusing fingers at the mother of two whenever the family feuds.

While you might think them uncouth and lacking of home training and possibly also be wondering how any of this is Lola’s fault; well I’m here to tell you that this latest feud and all the other ones before it are solely her fault.

And here’s why:

Because at nearly 40 years old, the twins are still babies who can’t tell their right from their left and so need a woman to tell them which is which. You know, boys will always be boys – it doesn’t matter if they have 2, 3 or 7 children, they never really grow.

And how dare she be older than her husband? Does she not know that that is a taboo? How did she allow herself to fall in love with him and even worse still allow him to fall in love with her? Tufiakwa!

And oh she’s so fine and very yellow therefore she must be a descendent of Mami Water. Yoruba women are never that fair. Yeah, I know you’ll say she has an Oyinbo parent but what does it matter? Is her surname not Omotayo? She’s too yellow abeg. Surely, she must be a witch!

The biggest reason of them all? She’s a woman, a Nigerian woman! Have you not heard? In this part of the world, the woman is always at fault. She’s the reason a family disintegrates, the reason she was raped by an older relative who should know better. The woman gets crucified for the same crime a man gets patted on the back for. She’s the reason her husband’s business isn’t moving and the reason he cheats.

It’s always the woman’s fault, always! So, when 3 grown-ass men decide to run a business without any structure whatsoever and problems arise as a result, nobody blames them. We all go to look for the woman, the easiest target, who is neither a member of the group or listed anywhere as a partner in the business.

Yes, by all means, let’s blame Lola.

In reaction to the arisen saga between the Okoye brothers, Comedian Yanbaba has pen down a direct & educative message to Nigerians as a whole. Its very important you read this through.

Dear Nigerians.

Is it not high time we allow peter and Paul of PSquare to fight and kill themselves in peace?.. Why do we always run to go separate them when they care less about our opinions?..

These boys are living large, and all they do is feign a fight, get us talking, and killing ourselves over them while their wives and children Cruz in exotic houses, later they will come back, and wouldn't bother to pay or appreciate us for trying to settle them, all they will do is do another album and make us patronize them..mbaanu! Our mumu don do!

On a second thought, what if all these is a publicity stunt?, these dudes are somehow lacking relevance. Wizkid, Davido, Tekno, Mr Eazi and the rest of them are obviously using a more formidable juju and taking over from them.

Anyway why won't their (Psquare) own juju fade? they are from Ifitedunu, there is no good native doctor in Ifitedunu, all they have are herbalists, and that's what they (Psquare) would not accept, so they want to go CONTROVERSIAL to gather some cheap attention...

I saw a video Peter made at the heat of a quarrel, who does that?.. So u will be fighting with somebody, the person will bring out his phone and be video covering it and the others will be acting out their own script?.. I can fall for speed Darlington's madness but I'm not falling for this!!!..

Even if is their wives that is causing all the quanta!!.. Are they the only ones married? Haba!!, is 2baba not married? Don't he have brothers in-law?.. Anyway 2baba has frustrated Annie enough, so it will be unreasonable of him to still have issues with her family..

Is D'banj not married?..unconfirmed marriage anyway!...Are Tonto and Tiwa Savage not married?.. Anyway is a question so I will leave you to answer that..

My point is that family issues should stay in the family, simple!!!.. Why drag Nigerians into it?.. We have enough problems already..

We have:
1. Speed darlington
2. Bobrisky
3. Vic o.
4. Lai Mohammed.
5. KC.
6. Nollywoood..
7. NTA.

Are these problems not enough for one country? You people should be considerate enough and give us some time to get over those aforementioned, they are our own Natural/National disasters.. Haba!

Anyway, My own is that Nigerians should ignore them, u know the picture of seeing two kids fighting and u just walk away pretending u didn't see them, they will fight, get tired of fighting and eventually separate themselves...

That's what we should do to Psquare them, let's ignore them ojare!! They've used us enough!! Can u remember how many times they've pulled this stunt on us? Cos me I have lost count... Even if say Na movie, there is always this last scene that we use to refer to as "last fight", where every other actor will give the " actor" and "the boss" some breathing space to sort themselves... Please let's assume this is their "last fight"... Let's honorably give them space to settle this once and for all!!..

Is not like we are even missing them that much, the likes of Runtown, Mayorkun, Wizkid, and Davido them are making sure of that..even 2baba sef.

As we are ignoring them, if u don't know the music to be keeping yourself busy with while we watch them fool themselves, I recommend "Gaga shuffle" by the legendary 2baba himself.

What is even all this!!?... Are they the only twins we have in this country?.. Me sef (Yanbaba) am also a twin, how many times have u heard I quarreled with my twin sister..

The likes of "2secs" and "skuki" them are also twins, and they do their stuffs in peace, anyway those ones have no other options than to live in peace cos nobody go even put mouth for them, u can't be upcoming and be fighting, that is a behavior of an Ewu.

So my point is for all of us to ignore Peter and Paul to fight until their body begin do them "skrrrrrrrrrrrrrrriaaa ka!! ka!! ka!! ka!! pum!! Pum!! Pum!! Skiaaaaa!!!!!"..

Please share until every Nigerian sees this.. Also tag popular blogs mbok, this one fit kuku blow me. I cannot come and kill myself.

Musical duo and twin brothers, PSquare have finally resolved the rift between them and have reunited towards working for a better productions. Several months after the PSquare brothers made headlines following a very emotional social media rant which led to their eventual split, the musical duo resolve to be back together again.

Peter Okoye who never hesitates to address issues as they arise between the brothers on social media, made this known via his Instagram page.

“My dear fans, P-Square is back. Ours is a journey that started from our mother’s womb. It was a journey that started from Primary School, continued to St. Murumba College, to when we were in University in Abuja. It was a journey in which we shared childhood memories and grown-up dreams.

We are back because brothers do not let each other wander in the dark alone. We are back because we have tried the lonely road and it was not the same. I want to take responsibility for what has happened and sincerely apologise to you our fans. For supporting us throughout this journey we owed you so much more than what you have had to endure and I apologise for that. We are embarking now on a new journey with exciting new management, new music and new ideas.

We cannot thank you enough for all your prayers and support throughout this difficult period. Maya Angelou once said that brotherhood is a condition that people have to work at. We will continue to work on that and you can be prepared to be blown away by this new phase of P-Square. God bless you all and be assured that you have not seen anything yet! Peter Okoye”

In as much as we share in this profound happiness, our Prayer..."Hope it stays this way onward!"

Indeed things just happen daily, fans derive various concepts to see their stars. A pretty lady took to Instagram to cry for Psquare not to break up, and this drew the attention of Peter Okoye who kicked-off a search for her. Few days ago, a youtube video which went viral on social media, showed a distressed music fan crying about the widely reported break-up of Nigeria's pop group, Psquare, begging them to come back together and reconcile their differences.

On seeing the video clip which was making rounds online, Peter Okoye took to twitter to ask about the whereabouts of the female fan crying over their impending split. Just like all expected, the lady was found in a twinkle of an eye. Her name is Patience Erdoo Yisa and  she is an upcoming actress and a beauty queen.

Below is her crying video which has given her an opportunity to meet with one of Nigeria's biggest musician.

The Okoye brothers, Psquare have reconciled! Thank God for the female fan that wept yesterday. Without that young girl's bravery, we may not be here. All these became reality as Peter Okoye reacted to a female fan who cried asking them not to break up stating that he wants to meet her after a fan tagged him with the young lady's crying video.

Another fan also asked Peter now that he's on a solo career if he's still working with his brother Paul, and Peter said yes.

After a weekend filled with explosive interviews, responses, social media “shade” and lots more, it seems as though there is peace at last for P-Square. The Okoye brothers all shared near identical messages on Instagram.

Yet a fan still asked to verify if all these was true and guess what was the reply......???/

We are so happy!

The Psquare brothers have dramatically squashed their beef and are set to perform together in Europe giving their fans the impression that the break-up was all a publicity stunt to get the attention of Nigerians. Following his brother's (Paul Okoye) plea this morning, it appears Peter Okoye has had a change of heart. He shared a promotional photo of their show in Netherland.

It affirms the conclusion they are back on. Several fans feel their rift was staged as the reconciliation was suddenly followed by the announcement of their international performance at the Ahoy Rotterdam 2016 event scheduled for the 26th of March, 2016.

Nigerian artiste, Paul Okoye of the Psquare fame has finally come out cleans with the lingering problems among his brothers. Paul Okoye has shared vital details about the major reasons for the imminent split between him and his brother, Peter Okoye which saw their elder brother, Jude Okoye being axed from the team as their manager.

He took to his Instagram page to narrate his side of his story and calling on fans never to take sides.

Psquare's elder brother Jude Okoye has announced he is no longer Psquare's manager. You recall Psquare's first manager ever before Jude took over revealed yesterday that if Jude Okoye stopped being Psquare's manager, the twin brothers Psquare will be back together in business. Well, Jude says he's no longer Psquare's manager. Let's see what happens now.

Amidst the P-Square breakup drama being witnessed by music lovers across Nigerian and Africa at large, Peter has shown he will not condone any insult directed at his twin brother, Paul.  As Nigerians watch with bated breath to see how the P-Square breakup saga will end, fans have decided to take sides with either Peter, Jude or Paul Okoye, as they pitch their tents with their favorite artistes.

Recently, Peter shared a video on Instagram showing himself practicing in a hut and a fan used the opportunity to slam his brother, Paul.  After watching the video, the commenter wrote:
"Your brother Paul is a dick to just leave like that because of fame, forgetting family first before any other thing, baba move on with your life joor u dance more than him."

But Peter, obviously not happy with the fan's comment, replied him with the words,
"@kuticulture pls don't insult my brother Paul he has nothing to do with what so ever. Thanks."

It is indeed true that no matter what happens in life, blood remains thicker than water.

Following a series of tweets where he called for the sack of his elder brother as their manager, Peter Okoye, one half of the pop duo, PSquare has finally apologized for his outburts against his brothers, Paul and Jude Okoye.

The singer wrote:

The cause of the apology which he tendered via his twitter page  came as  his twin brother, Paul Okoye has declared his support for their elder brother. He shared a photo of Psquare and Jude Okoye and wrote,
“I am not perfect I make mistakes, and it hurts people. But when I say sorry I mean it. I am so sorry for my actions. I sincerely apologize.”
Before Peter tendered his apologies, Paul had shared a photo collage of a throwback photo, on his instagram account, declaring his support for Jude. The picture showed Peter and Paul flanking a seated Jude on both sides, now with Peter replaced by a photo of their studio in the collage. Peter had earlier in the week taken to his twitter account to call for the sack of  their elder brother, Jude  as their manager, warning the general public about doing any P Square related business with him.

With the recent development, its very obvious that PSquare is about to drop a new album as we can only see this as a PR stunt.

"A manager is been employed by the artiste not the other way round. #truthBeTold."
The relationship between the brothers Peter and Jude has been broken down to the extent that the singer tweeted a disclaimer stating that whoever does business with North Side Entertainment on behalf of Psquare is at his or her own risk.
