In less than 24 hours to September 30, the deadline given by President Muhammadu Buhari in releasing the list of his long-awaited ministerial nominees, the social media was again abuzz on Monday, with a list of politicians and technocrats who are speculated to make the list to be sent to the Senate tomorrow.

However, this list is not an official list from the Presidency. Again, this is not likely the real list because some names such as that of Dr Kayode Fayemi, Femi Falana and Engineer Segun Oni are all from Ekiti State. According to the constitution, the President must appoint a minister from each state.

Here is a list of possible nominees:
  1. Prof. Tam David West
  2. Femi Falana (SAN)
  3. Lt.-Gen. Abdulrahman Dambazu (rtd)
  4. Prince Olagunsoye Oyinlola
  5. Wale Edun
  6. Abubakar Malami (SAN).
  7. Mrs. Ifueko Omoigui-Okaru
  8. Chief Bode Mustapha
  9. Engineer Segun Oni
  10. Dr Kayode Fayemi
  11. Dr. Abba Ruma
  12. Chief Kanu Agabi
  13. Donald Duke
  14. Babatunde Raji Fashola
  15. Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi
  16. Rotimi Akeredolu
  17. Rabiu Musa Kwankwanso
  18. Festus Odimegwu
  19. Engineer Funsho Kupolokun
  20. Yinka Folashade Oredola
  21. Bisola Adegbenro
  22. Isaiah Danjuma (son of TY Danjuma)
  23. Dele Momodu
