The contest at the Glo-sponsored Reality TV Show, Dance with
Peter, gets hotter this weekend as the first set of evictees leave the academy
today. The eviction follows last week's performance, where the duo
of Captain Z and Mannaseh, G-Stream and Ernest Smiley, Snipe and Tom and
Fearless and Ricky
recorded the lowest score from the judges while performing
the "Latin American Dances".
During today's telecast, followers of the show will find out
whom, among the dancers with the lowest scores, has been saved by the voting
public and who will exit the competition.
Peter, the originator of the show, while encouraging the
would-be evictees, told them that they had made him proud and that he was sad
to see some of them go. He encouraged them to make use of everything they had
been taught in the competition and use it to better their skills.
"Even though you guys are going now, I don't believe you're losers. Ensure that you make use of everything we've taught you in here, and if you do that, you can even be better than those that are still in the competition," Peter said.
Globacom urged viewers to tune in to Africa Magic Urban
(Channel 153 on DSTV) at 7 p.m. on Saturday to find out the dancers that would
leave the competition and also watch the remaining dancers entertain and fight
to stay on in the academy. Those who miss the action can look forward to
watching it on African Independent Television (AIT) at 3 p.m on Sunday and on
MTV Base on Wednesdays from 7 p.m to 8 p.m.
The company says the public can vote for their preferred
contestant by sending his or her code to 55518 at the cost of N50 per SMS.
Voting lines are open from 8 p.m. on Saturday to 12 midnight on Monday.
It added that voters stand a chance of winning fantastic
prizes including IPhone 5 handsets, Glo internet wifi and modems as well as Glo
recharge cards.
