One of the world's leading luxury ship builders has revealed
the latest of their luxury concept yachts - "Symmetry". The stunning, grand, super yacht, which was showcased at
2015's Monaco Yacht Show in September is designed to stand at a massive 590
feet in length and sport six decks worth of perfection.
Designed by Netherlands-born and based custom-designer of
super yacht concepts, Sander J. Sinot, the lavish concept yacht has space for
34 guests and boasts features including an infinity pool, a private spa and a
home cinema.
At this year's Monaco Yacht Show, Sinot Exclusive Yacht
Design presented Symmetry, a bi-directional maneuverable concept yacht Symmetry's unique layout transcends traditional boundaries
in yacht design. To designer Sander Sinot of Sinot Exclusive Yacht Design, the
use of symmetry is a way to transform traditional yacht design.
The strikingly spacious, well balanced and symmetrical built
up yacht is a showcase of the next step in mega yacht designs, claim Sinot. Each of the six decks have a specific function and character
- The Beach Deck has a mid-ship beach lounge featuring a seawater pool and
float in tender bay and the Guest Deck has a spectacular mid-ship pool with a
glass bottom, multiple spacious VIP rooms with en-suite lounges and balconies.
The Hotel Deck contains many guest facilities such as dining
areas, lounges, bars, garden, gym and an exterior pool whereas The Wheelhouse
Deck has dual steering arrangements to accommodate bi-directional maneuverability. Other decks include a kids' playroom, an office, library,
sky lounge and an exterior deck with lounge seats.
Symmetry was named the most developed, detailed and designed
concept yacht presented at Monaco Yacht Show in September 2015
On the Beach Deck guests can relax beside the infinity pool
and Jacuzzi on this stylish super yacht In total, Symmetry will have 10,700 square feet (almost
1,000 square meters) of exterior deck space.
Designer, Sander J. Sinot, said: 'The yacht's layout is
created by symmetrically building up from the centre, instead of using the
traditional linear set up. 'Functions on the decks are organised around the central
void with an intuitive logic. Designer Sander Sinot said: 'It was our aim to create a
synergetic balance of functionality, beauty, engineering and design'.
Symmetry’s six decks and 590 foot length provides an huge
interior space for work and play across the six different decks. 'The symmetrical shape of the hull allows for a
bi-directional course at sea, tight man-oeuvres and pivoting, ensuring
comfortable tender transfers on the lee side of the lower deck's mid-ship Beach
Lounge.
'It was our aim to create a synergistic balance of functionality, beauty, engineering and design. 'Symmetry reflects a genuine owner-centered philosophy of the yacht as a custom-designed private estate, moving freely over the world's oceans, offering an abundance of space to welcome beloved ones to indulge, work, play and enjoy life.'
The yacht has a capacity for 34 guests and 48 crew and every
deck has a specific function and character designed by Sinot. Pictured the
extendable floating bay allows guests to use the ocean as their own salt water
pool Symmetry's revolutionary design works from the centre
outwards, which the designers say offer advantages over a traditional linear
set up.
The Owner-Exclusive Deck comprises a state room, private
spa, office, library, sky lounge and infinity water feature Sinot added:
'Symmetry reflects a genuine owner-centred philosophy of the yacht as a custom-designed private estate, moving freely over the world’s oceans, offering an abundance of space to welcome beloved ones to indulge, work, play and enjoy life'
