A few Nigerian celebrities like veteran Nigerian actor,
Richard Mofe-Damijo [pictured above], Basketmouth, Uti Nwachukwu and Kemi Adetiba and many
others will alongside, Specter Bond villain, Dave Bautista experience the first
of its kind selfie from space as well as many other exciting activities lined
up in preparation for the James Bond ‘Spectre‘ premiere.
The Selfie from Space initiative is put in place alongside
Urthecast and Heineken is aimed at creating the selfie experience from space
using a camera on the Deimos satellite, currently in orbit 600km above the
Earth’s surface to take ultra HD imagery of the lucky celebrities including the
Nigerian quartet assembled at the Hoover Dam in Las Vegas.
The Nigerian celebrities who have been selected are, Richard
Mofe-Damijo, BasketMouth, Uti Nwachukwu and Kemi Adetiba, and they will be
joining other international stars in Las Vegas for the first ever selfie from
space. Billed to take place today being November 5, 2015 in Nevada, Los Angeles.
Commenting on the decision to take the four celebrities to
Las Vegas, Marketing director of Nigerian Breweries, Franco Maria Maggi
remarked, "We are very proud of Heineken’s long-standing association with
the James Bond franchise. We are especially proud to partner with ‘Spectre’ on
this adventure as we bring the experience to Nigeria with four of the Nigeria’s
most loved entertainment personalities: Richard Mofe-Damijo, Basket Mouth, Uti
Nwachukwu & Kemi Adetiba Their fans will be able to share the experience
with them through their social media pages and it promises to be a lot of fun.”
Heineken is the world’s most international premium beer and
Spyfie is one of the activities in the brand’s integrated global campaign,
which centers around the latest installment in the James Bond film “Spectre” .
The campaign also features an exciting TV ad featuring Daniel Craig as James
Bond in a high-speed boat chase.
Spectre is the seventh consecutive film in the partnership
between Heineken® and James Bond, a relationship which started in 1997 with
‘Tomorrow Never Dies’ starring Perce Brosnan
