Super Eagles and Watford striker, Odion Ighalo could be on his way out of England as Spanish giants Atletico Madrid have reportedly shown interest in the Nigerian. Our Reports reveal that the Spanish Giants has been monitoring the player closely and have sent scouts to watch him on several occasions this season.
Atletico are said to have tabled £12million offer in a bid lure the goal poacher away from Vicarage Road. Diego Simeone has been hinted that Ighalo can solve their problem of goal scoring. To realize this, Atletico will have to offload striker Jackson Martinez who has not been in form for the club to create space for the Nigerian.
Meanwhile, Pastor Benjamin Igoh, founder of Wazobia Widows Foundation has disclosed that Ighalo’s love and undying passion for the less privileged, particularly in Ajegunle, where the striker began his career before leaving for Europe, is the reason behind his recent excellent form.
Ighalo is reported to having scored 14 goals in the Premier League this season from 18 games and also third (3rd) highest goal scorer.
