Lionel Messi is keen to minimise any previous animosity between him and Cristiano Ronaldo.
“I don’t feel envy [towards Ronaldo]. That’s a negative trait,” he said earlier.
“I like Cristiano. I am the way I am and he is the way that he is.”
The Argentine also revealed that he’d swap five Ballon d’Or trophies for just one World Cup after the heartbreak of losing the 2014 final to Germany at the Maracana.
“It is the peak,” he said.
