The show was hosted by the 49-year-old Saturday Night Live actress, Leslie Jones who joked about how rappers back in the day had names that described who they are, but today’s rappers have names that don’t fit that description.
The BET Awards not only honor music – the show also gives out awards for Best Actress, Best Actor, Best Movie, and awards for athletes.
